25.01.2022 Day 3 of self quarantine- feelings of heaviness and withdrawn. Today started off okay, I had a healthy breakfast, did a workout with my son and those are about the only two things I can remember being pleasant. The rest of the day was pretty crappy, I took lots of breaks and did minimal. I knew it was my body calling me to rest and digest, it’s taking longer this time but I have made myself a promise that I will sit with this. As the number of people infected at my partners w...ork goes up, it’s hard to keep positive and not worry. I feel a little defeated, but I’m still going. It’s okay to take breaks and pause as long as you don’t give up, so that’s what I’m doing. I need to be strong and continue on for him, it’s my job to support my love through this as I know he would me. Anxiety has the better of me tonight, so I’m calling it a day regardless of the fact that there’s toys everywhere, I was meant to hang washing, I’m okay with this. It’s time for me to take control! 24.01.2022 How’s everyone’s week been? I definitely missed a few days of posting, I’ve taken some time to process the current circumstances. It has been an emotional roller coaster, but I’ve gotten up and dressed everyday. It’s normal for me to be sad and upset right now, so I’m just lying with it. I’m currently chilling in my front yard on the grass enjoying the sounds of nature. 18.01.2022 Day 2 of self quarantine with me- today I am feeling grateful, grateful for all the love and support that has been sent my way. It’s scary posting your darkest moments on social media... but I do for the simple reason that I want people I work with to know all sides of me. There’s nothing worse then thinking someone is perfect and feeling intimidated, when I run my classes or one on one sessions and all you beautiful souls are in the vulnerable seats letting me hear all your ...deepest wounds, just know I’m sitting in my seat with many of the same ones! Today I’m taking time to do absolutely nothing, and when I say nothing I mean nothing! I’m just taking space to digest everything from yesterday, the news from Dan Andrews and our news of having to self quarantine! I have no plans, except to just listen to my body, relax and do a whole lot of lounging around!! 18.01.2022 14 days of raw, unfiltered self isolation for the second time with me! I’ve been here before, but yet it still seems so unfair! This is what it looks like to be told you need to self isolate for the second time, being with a nurse has proven to be hard through these times. What started like a great Father’s Day, soon turned completely sour. Receiving the call saying your partner has been a close contact with a patient who has tested positive, at first I felt okay. Throughout ...the day my anxiety started getting worse progressively, and then tonight I just fully broke. It kicked in, we will be in the same four walls with two children for the next 14 days minimum, with no daily walks, no fresh air, running in the park, nothing... AGAIN! Just a small backyard and a house with no escape, safe to say day 1 has hit me like a tonne of bricks! I hope you’ve had a better day, I feel okay about crying tonight and feeling sad... 12.01.2022 Deep thought- If it’s possible that thought alone can make us sick and cause disease, then it must be possible for thought alone to make us better and heal disease. Lately I’ve been looking deep into what our thought processes can do to us, and I have discovered that what we think plays a huge impact on our mood, our relationships, friendships and how detrimental thought alone can be to our overall health. In saying this, I have been practicing to consciously listen to my t...houghts and inner voice... when I get any negative thoughts, I try and turn them into positive thoughts and I see a change in mood and anxiety.
