17.01.2022 SOLD We have more beehives than we can realistically manage, so we have a batch of 5 hives for sale. All 5 hives are from splits made in November/December 2020, and have now filled out the 8 frame boxes. Ideals were only added about a week ago. All hives contain good numbers of bees, great brood and some stores. They have been a little slow establishing themselves because of the less than ideal conditions, but are now going great. They may require some supplementary feeding p...rior to winter, depending on the conditions over the next month or two. 4 of the hives have new current season's marked (blue), Caucasian queens. 1 has an 18 month old marked Caucasian queen. All boxes are in good condition. The bases are new, and include a section of stainless steel mesh for ventilation. The lids are new, include insulation, and have colourbond covers. Asking $375 each. The hives are currently located at Langwarrin South, and can be inspected by arrangement. Delivery may be possible, depending on location. See more

10.01.2022 Taking orders now for delivery in Spring - solidly built Long Langs and Topbar hives. All hives - Oiled pine body, painted pine weatherboard lids, solid base with ventilation. Redgum legs. 2 Follow boards. Long Langs include marine ply cover boards. Basic hive - $380. Double thick walls (44mm) add $40, Optional Cedar lid - add $40. Topbar hives include 32 topbars at 35mm width. Basic hive $400, Double thick walls, add $40, Optional Cedar lid, add $40.... Prefer the hives to be picked up, but delivery can be negotiated. Can also supply bees if required.
