23.01.2022 A sample of our first rob of the season. This season, we're off to a good start. Thankfully the conditions have improved in our region and our girls are happy and healthy and delighted to share their excess goodness with us. It truly is as delicious as it looks. Our 8 year daughter saw the beauty in this capture and decided to take a snap. We're glad she did, it looks sooo good! We're in fresh stock, drop us a message to place your orders. (As always, our bees come first.. #ethical #sustainable #grateful) #beesrock #eatqld

23.01.2022 We get calls almost everyday from home owners or real estate agents asking for our help to remove bees from homes. Bee swarms will rest on trees, shrubs, trampolines, anything really and will send out scout bees to look for a new home. Wall cavities are perfect for a swarm to call home, weep holes are the perfect gap for bees to enter and protect as well as the cavity being somewhat insulated and has the perfect bee space for them to build honeycomb.... If you see a swarm please get in contact with us and we can arrange to rescue and relocate before they move into a wall cavity.

22.01.2022 Its National Ag Day!! Today is a day where we celebrate and thank our farmers for producing the food that we eat. Farmers and their families work incredibly hard to provide for us all. ... Where you can please support your local farmer and buy local, without your support a lot of what we take for granted would simply vanish. NO Farmers, NO Bees, NO Food, NO Future. #eatqld #buylocal #farmers #agriculture #nationalagday2020

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, today we found out that a bee swarm was poisoned by people who did not know where to turn to get help rescuing and rehoming bees (they found us to late :( ) We have now set up a specific page www.facebook.com/loganbeerescue for people to contact us directly and report bee swarms & hives (both native and european). If you live in Brisbane/Gold Coast/Logan it would be amazing if you could take a moment to help us reach throughout our community and share our page wi...th your friends and family. This would help us be able to provide our services quickly to anyone who may encounter a swarm or hive. Any help is greatly appreciated.

19.01.2022 We have had a huge influx of orders for our pure beeswax tealight candles. We thought we would do a quick video of how we hand pour each one. The aroma of light sweet honey breezing through our house is incredible. Did you know that bees will consume 16kg of honey to get the energy needed to make 1kg of beeswax?... The wax that we use for our candles and products is taken from the cappings during our sustainable extraction process. We now have plenty of these beautiful candles in stock and can be found at www.beeallnatural.com.au #beeswax #beesrock #beeswaxcandles #purebeeswax #allnatural #bees #zerowaste

18.01.2022 It's so special to have regular visits from our local wildlife. This vibrant red beauty flew in for a daily visit, sitting on top of its usual comfy pearch.. one of our native bee boxes. We can't help but think they're lining up to sample our delicious raw honey, encouraged by a sensational floral and malty scent that floats from our home apiary. #sofresh #flick.us.abit #apiarylife

17.01.2022 Big day! We had the pleasure of taking part in an "LJ Hooker - Browns Plains" interview to promote our beautiful Logan community. It was an honour to have the opportunity to meet the infamous (and very cheeky) LJ Hooker Bear to showcase our bees and discuss what motivates us to pursue our passions and thrive within our community. Thankfully, without our PPE on Jason managed to only get stung once, right on the forehead.. Youch!! Tash and Miranda did a great job with the smoker, mostly in the eyes... ... All in all, great day. Video to come! #live #grow #thrive @livinginlogan #eatqld

03.01.2022 We're grateful for your support Regionality. Your strength in Agritourism compliments the efforts AgriFutures Australia and Australian Honey Bee Industry Council have been working tirelessly to achieve. Working together has had a positive impact on our industry which is vital in navigating the current COVID and environmental impacts we're all challenged with. Jason and I personally feel incredibly optimistic about our future in agriculture as we continue to maintain our ethical and sustainable practices.

02.01.2022 "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them". On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we shall remember them. Lest We Forget x #rememberenceday #respect

01.01.2022 Bee swarm season is well and truly in full swing, this is a quick video of a bee swarm that had sent out scout bees to find a new home.....the new home being the wall cavity of this house. Bees absolutely love wall cavities as they are generally insulated and easy to defend (weepholes are the perfect entrance size for bees). While we do rescue bees from walls it is always preferable to rescue the swarm before they find a new home that is often not conducive to their health an...d well-being (a lot of home owners are not in a position to have walls removed and reinstated to extract bees and more times than not they are euthanised). If you see a swarm please contact a local Beekeeper who will happily respond and rescue them before they can become a concern. Please feel free to pass this onto friend and family. We can be contacted on 0412 850 065
