19.01.2022 Hi there Bee Lovers It's getting to the time of year here in the southern hemisphere where you should be thinking about having a look in your hive to see how well they have come through the winter. Especially here in Australia things are starting to warm up and some ironwood has started to flower. What you need to check for is any diseases / pests, condition of your queen and do they have enough food. Remember NEVER Ever Ever feed your bees honey, it's the best way to spread... disease. A 50/50 water/sugar syrup is what they like. This can have the effect of stimulating the queen to lay so if there isn't a good natural source of food out there for them you will have to keep an eye on their situation. May the Power be With You
