25.01.2022 Designers in the making! Our Year 5 students spent a day designing and making usable bags as part of their Design & Technology curriculum. Students used materials that have been upcycled and had a great day learning new skills such as sewing, crocheting and plaiting.
24.01.2022 Water fun at Outback Splash. Our Year 6 students thoroughly enjoyed their day riding the water slides, weaving through the maze and seeing the animals. What an awesome way to wrap up their Primary School journey.
24.01.2022 Our Year 2 and 4 students visited our sister school Southern Hills Christian College on an excursion and were fortunate to enjoy the High Ropes course, Big Swing and explore the natural beauty of the area.
24.01.2022 Our Kindergarten students have enjoyed the Pizza Shop in their classroom. They have been busy taking orders from their peers, making delicious pizzas and serving them too.
23.01.2022 Pyjama Day was the best way to end off a busy semester and we managed to raise a substantial amount of food for the Salvation Army Foodbank!

20.01.2022 Our Year 5 and 6 students had the privilege of meeting Brickmaker from the TV show LEGO Masters. After an intriguing virtual meeting, our students took on the challenge of building the tallest freestanding LEGO tower in 20 minutes. Only one centimetre separated first and second places! 18.01.2022 The Year 6 Graduation was a wonderful occasion where our students' achievements were celebrated by their families and the staff at Beechboro Christian School. In the words of our Year 6 leaders during their Graduation speech, "it's not a time to say goodbye, but rather, see you later".

18.01.2022 Our 3 and 5 Day Kindergarten classes for 2021 are filling up fast. If you are looking for a Kindergarten placement in 2021, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
18.01.2022 Before the Easter break, our students created Easter Cards and sent them to the residents at the Elderbloom Community Care Centre. The residents so enjoyed receiving the hand made cards that they reciprocated by sending cards back to our students. We are delighted to have formed a relationship with Elderbloom Community Care Centre and look forward to sharing with them again soon.
17.01.2022 Our Pre-Primary class has been a hive of discoveries! Book week, dress-ups, fairy-tales and Science have all been fun but the highlight has been their investigation of Aboriginal culture and history. Our students loved looking into Aboriginal artists and had a go at creating their own Aboriginal artwork.
16.01.2022 Thank you to our wonderful community for sending in your bread tags and saving them from our waterways, we know the marine life will appreciate your efforts. These tags will now be sent for recycling with all proceeds contributing towards buying wheelchairs.

15.01.2022 It was fabulous to have our 2021 Kindergarten students visit their new school this morning to meet their new friends and teachers!
14.01.2022 Our adventurous students created a seesaw on the playground and even used science to balance out the weight! So much fun has been had on the playground this week.
14.01.2022 Book week is a magical celebration of reading. This years theme was curious creatures and wild adventures and our students and staff did not disappoint with their outfits that were inspired by their favourite books and characters. We continue to celebrate the power of reading and helping our students to foster a love of literature.
13.01.2022 Our Year 2s are currently in the Invention phase of their Talk For Writing Narrative program. They have loved exploring our class text and consolidating their understanding of the structure of a narrative, using the story mountain. Our students are now using their learning to create their very own narratives.

11.01.2022 Today, Mrs Walsh from Altone Park Shopping Centre presented a gift to our Art Department to thank our students for their hard work in creating the art pieces that were displayed during the Art Show at Altone Shopping Centre in March.

08.01.2022 Our students competed courageously at the WACSA Carnival this week. Despite the rain and cold, the students performed well, winning 4 medals and placing 4th overall.
08.01.2022 Year 6's explore Parliament House and Kings Park. Our tour of Parliament House included visits to both the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council. We all agreed that the best job was in the Legislative Assembly (Lower House) - Sergeant-at-Arms who carries the mace and has the power of arrest!
07.01.2022 Our school leaders were honoured to join fellow leaders at the Online Governors Prayer breakfast at Ellenbrook Christian College this morning. The vision for the morning was to join a community in unity and fellowship as we come before the Lord in prayer.
06.01.2022 Our Kindergarten students have enjoyed a busy term learning and exploring. Our focus has been on co-operation and teamwork and the students have excelled together as they have built things, created art, tinkered, role-played, investigated and started preparing for the athletics carnival later on this term. 06.01.2022 Our Year 2 students are learning about the Armour of God in their Christian Living classes. After exploring and unpacking the meaning and purpose of each piece of Armour, the students have created their own pieces to remind them to wear their Armour of God each day.

05.01.2022 The Beechboro Christian School family is made up of more than 40 different cultures. To celebrate this, we installed a map and placed a location pin on each country that is represented in our community. It has been great to see some of our students exploring the map and showing their friends where their families are from!

03.01.2022 Over the past few weeks, the Year 1 classes have been learning about time and money. We made clocks to helps us learn the features of a clock and how to make oclock and half past. We have been practicing matching clocks with digital time and time in words. We are now starting to investigate the value of money and the difference between dollars and cents, as well as coins and notes. Look at us ordering money. ... On Friday afternoons we earn some Creative Construction time. We use this time to explore the Legos, puppets and other construction materials. As we work together collaboratively, we learn to share, and problem solve. Check out our amazing creations! Two of our amazing Year 1 families were involved in the Book Week Creation Challenge, making a creature out of recyclable materials. What awesome creatures their families created!
