Our District Nursing team support people at home by providing a broad range of services to people in Beechworth, Yackandandah and surrounding areas. 21.01.2022 Appointments to the boards of directors of Beechworth Health Service The Minister for Health, Martin Foley MP, is pleased to invite applications for part time board positions of Beechworth Health Service with terms of office commencing from 1 July 2021. Safe and high quality healthcare for all Victorians is a priority of the Victorian Government. Applicants for board directorships must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence in support of the skills they identify in their... applications. These positions provide an exciting opportunity for members of the Victorian public with relevant experience and qualifications to contribute to the strategic leadership of public health care delivery to the community. All applications will be considered however the board would particularly welcome applicants with expertise in the competency areas of Financial Management and Accounting; Registered Clinician; ICT Strategy and governance and Asset Management. Please refer to the Position Description for more details about the competencies needed. 07.01.2022 Today is a ‘Thank You Day’ for Victorians who have made so many sacrifices as part of the community effort to contain the spread of coronavirus. To mark Thank You Day BHS has put together a video to thank our staff, service partners, residents, patients and their loved ones and the wider community, featuring a soundtrack from local musician Liv Cartledge. We wish we could have captured a photo of everybody on staff at BHS and all of our service partners but there are just too many people to thank. 04.01.2022 New visitor guidelines at BHS Beechworth Health Service visiting guidelines are developed with consideration for current Dept Health & Human Services direction, the local COVID context and our available resources. From November 9, 2020: Patients/residents can have 1, pre-booked visit per day, between 10am - 3pm Up to 2 people from the same household can visit in the patient/resident room once per day, for up to 2 hours...
