25.01.2022 Great run Rick, and yes what a beautiful day. Will do my run in the arvo to follow up on my 8klm yesterday.
24.01.2022 The weather was much better this week for our Sunday run. We headed out to the Murmungee lookout and the views never disappoint. After a couple of photos we all headed back for Anita's lovely scones and coffee at the Hillsborough Quality Nuts Shop. Next week we are meeting at lake sambell beach at 8am. Happy Running.
23.01.2022 Beautiful morning run down Green Wattle Rd then back up into the bush at the Mountain Bike Park, then back to Lake Sambell. Next week we are meeting at the lake for a 8am start.

23.01.2022 They didnt get to the Gold Coast Marathon because of the COVID-19. Best thing to do is run your own, so they headed down to Brown Brothers winery to run today. Great effort fellas,
23.01.2022 BRG headed down Green Wattle rd to the gate, then headed back on the mountain bike tk to the old rifle rang club house. We ran back onto the rail trail and back to the lake. All up 10.2 km.
22.01.2022 No running last week because of the thick smoke but was better today. We headed up to the Mansions, down to Kibble lane then back to the lake. All up around 11.5klm. Next week if the smoke isnt to bad we will meet at the lake sambell beach at 8am. Happy Running.
20.01.2022 It was a very wet day for BRG today. We ran around the Gorge and the rain wasn't bad until about 2km to go. The good part, it was warm and runners all enjoyed themselves. Sorry we missed you Eilidh at the start and finish. Next week we are meeting at Hillsborough Quality Nuts Shop at Stanley for a 8am start . We will run to the Murmungee lookout. Happy Running.
19.01.2022 What a fantastic day for our Sunday run. Down Kibble lane and up Magpie tk, onto Raws rd then Twist ck rd and back to the lake. All up around 15km. Very upsetting for everyone was to see the Project roll her ankle and had to back track to the lake. Next week Digby and Ken are doing a Marathon at Milawa because the Gold Coast Marathon was cancelled. Good luck boys. Next week we are meeting at lake sambell beach at 8am. Happy Running.
19.01.2022 Great morning run today with the weather perfect. We had the coach back today after weeks getting over what we suspect was a muzz calf strain. The Project has been troubled with this injury for years so she can only sympathise with him. We done the Green Wattle rd run with the photo looking out towards Mt Pilot. Next week we are meeting at lake sambell beach at 8am. Happy Running.
18.01.2022 BRG had a beautiful run around the Gorge today, all up around 10.5 klm. Next week we are heading to the city2city run and following week some are heading to Wang to do the Half Marathon.

17.01.2022 It was fantastic to get the BRG back together for a run and the Project didnt disappoint with her chosen route. It was a bit further than the Project thought but on a day like today nobody really cared, all up around 16klm. Great to sit back with a nice cuppa and catch up with everyone. 15.01.2022 Fantastic turnout today. We headed down the old Chiltern Rd to Woolshed then up the walking track, past the Cascades onto the Gorge rd and back to the lake. 14.01.2022 Great to get our run in before the heat and thick choking smoke. We ran down the Green Wattle rd to the gate, always a great view looking over Wooragee. Then back to the lake. Thanks to David and Ash for the lovely Christmas card, lot of work gone into it. Next week we are meeting at lake sambell beach at 8am. 14.01.2022 Dont know how we did it but we got 13km in today and missed all the rain. It was a little bit damp but enjoyable running on the bush tracks and into the Pine plantation. Next week we are meeting at lake sambell beach at 8am. Happy Running.

13.01.2022 BRG went to Stanley for our Sunday run. A beautiful run along the dirt rds with Black Cockatoos singing the rain is coming. Winding our way to the top for around 8km is worth the effort when you see the views. Then a nice run back down the hill to the yummy scones and coffee at Hillsborough Quality Nuts Shop. 13.01.2022 Another cool morning for BRG. We headed down Kibble lane, up to stock yard rd, continuing up to Twist ck road and back to the lake. 12.01.2022 Craig, Rick and Dave in the razorback run on Sat. 22km from Diamantena hut to Mt feathertop and back. We started in minus 3 deg with gale force winds. On the ex...posed ridges it was hard to stand let alone run due to the high winds and very rough track underfoot. Extremely hard run but we finished and survived. I was exhausted but thoroughly enjoyed the event. See more
11.01.2022 Yappa ran up the big hill from Wooragee to Beechy and back, around 8klm from my place. Then followed up with a beautiful run around Beechworth today with a total of around 19 klm for the weekend. Ive got to get serious so Im looking for a Marathon around October, but if still in lock down will run my own.
09.01.2022 Another beautiful day to be out running. BRG ran along the walking tk to Heaven and Hell tunnel, right turn to Silver ck road then onto Payne rd to the Castle. Big bull there so no photos, quick look at the new gym then down past Montassori school and down to rail trail then back to the lake. All up around 10klm. 07.01.2022 Nice morning run down Kibble lane and up to Red Hill. Great to catch up with Ellie, still fit and smashed the hills for someone who lives on the flat. 07.01.2022 Fantastic morning at the Harrietville half Marathon. Everyone achieved there goal by making it to the finish line, some with a bit of soreness though. One thing I did notice from wodonga crew, no Michael Mellor? Whats going on mate.
06.01.2022 Once again BRG braved the hot weather today, we ran down Kibble lane and up to Red Hill and back to the lake. All up around 10klm. 06.01.2022 A nice easy run around the Gorge today. The map below is hopefully going to be the new fun run for the Football / Netball Club over the Easter weekend. BRG are keen to help make this a great day for all runners and walkers, so get out and start your training. The more you do now will make the run /walk that much more enjoyable on the day. 05.01.2022 Bring your own thermos and coffee or tea and munchies for after our run tomorrow at the lake. Should be a beautiful day so come and see if you can keen up with the Project as she has set the course for tomorrow. If its anything like Thursday l would say be prepared Coach it was a cracker.
04.01.2022 Cool day for our Sunday run. The coach thought we needed some hill work today to warm runners up, so down Kibble lane we went. Then it was up Magpie 2 tk onto raws rd and up to Twist ck rd, a really good climb to the top. By the time we got back to the lake it was around 15.5 km. Next week we are meeting at lake sambell beach at 8am. Happy Running.
02.01.2022 The day started dry when we left the lake but the rain set in half way around the Gorge. Bit of a short run compared to the last few weeks as we tried to keep our feet dry, didnt work. We were soaking wet at the end but a quick change of clothes and a coffee was all we needed. Next week we are meeting at lake sambell beach at 8am. Happy Running.
02.01.2022 The old fellas from BRG ran the city2city today. Digby, Rick, Rob and Yappa all had great runs with not a lot of training. Hopefully this will give us a good lead up to the New Beechworth Fun Run over Easter. This is one of the most beautiful runs going around so get behind the Beechworth Football /Netball Club and start training. You can run/ walk the 10klm or enjoy the 3klm run /walk as a family. Next week some runners are going to Wang and the rest will meet at lake sambell beach at 8am. Happy Running.
