01.01.2022 OUR OSTEOPATHS Patrick Douglas has worked as an Osteopath in Australia since 1984. He moved from New Zealand to Australia in the late 70s and graduated from the Pacific College of Osteopathy, Sydney in 1983 with a Diploma of Osteopathy. He also has diplomas in Homeopathy, Naturopathy and Botanical Medicine from the NSW College of Natural Therapies, which he also completed in the early 80s. He treats structurally and functionally and has a particular interest in Osteopathy i...n the cranial field. Patrick is also registered with Department of Veterans Affairs, so is able treat Australian Veterans and their families under this program. Patrick treats clients of all ages, and particularly enjoys treating older people, where he utilises a wide range of techniques to help them feel more mobile and active. Patrick works three days per week at our clinic in Beecroft and two days at another clinic in Cremorne. He is available Monday 8.00am 6.00pm Wednesday 8.00am 6.00pm Thursday 8.00am 6.00pm. Caroline Hilliard graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1989. She worked in the UK as an osteopath for six years, before moving to Australia with her husband. She then worked at two universities in Melbourne; Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Victoria University, as an Osteopathic clinical advisor, before moving to Sydney and joining Beecroft Osteopaths in 1995. Caroline also has extensive experience and a special interest in the modality of Osteopathy in the cranial field. She treats patients of all ages, and especially enjoys working with new mums and babies. Caroline is available: Monday 9.00am 3.30pm Tuesday 9.00am 1.00pm Wednesday 11am 8:00pm Thursday 5.30pm 8.00pm Friday 9.30am- 5.00pm Alex has always been interested in the healthcare industry having grown up with an Osteopath father and a Midwife mother. Alex has a strong interest in sports related injuries having competed at state level in Athletics and is a keen Rugby Union fan. Alex treats his patients with a current evidence based approach whilst still drawing on traditional Osteopathic principles. He further discovered his passion for musculoskeletal biomechanics, Osteopathic principles and evidence based patient centred care whilst at RMIT. Alex also has a B.A. (Media) from Macquarie University and began his career working in a media agency in his hometown of Sydney. This has provided Alex with invaluable communication skills which assists him with making meaningful connections with his patients. Alex is available: Monday 10am - 4pm Wednesday 12:00 - 8:00pm Friday 9:30 am- 5:00pm
