05.01.2022 Bringing back the Pinot! Truffle Hill Pinot Noir 2019 picking is done! All the fruit was dry grown (non irrigated) by our winemaker Mark Aitken from his own vi...neyard in Manjimup this season who has watched over every inch of of its journey from vine to ferment. Our wine manager Stuart Hutchinson was on site with the crew making sure only the best fruit was selected for our famous Pinot. 2019 was a great season with no disease and minimal intervention needed. Only the best oak from France was also chosen for the barrel maturation that these parcels will develop in for the next 10 months. 100% hand picked and 10% whole bunch ferment will add extra layers of complexity to the wine with careful watch on ferment temperatures twice daily. This wine is made in true Truffle & Wine Co. fashion with our philosophy of excellence bringing only the best to our loyal customers tables. The Manjimup region has made many famous Pinot Noirs for decades, some reaching elite status with Halliday giving 98 point scores and the wines can fetch upwards of $100 - this wine is no exception.
