08.01.2022 If it wasn't for the nearly 500 grevilleas that I planted on my property years ago in the view of one day having bees, I would not only have no honey at all but I would have to feed my bees like a lot of beekeepers at the moment because there is not much flowering out there and not enough food for them despite being Summer!!!

06.01.2022 And this is yet another evidence of consequences from the wide use of chemicals. This is precisely why I do my very best to keep my property organic and I've even registered it with the shire so they do NOT spray around my boundary anymore. Yes I can not guarantee my bees don't go outside my block but by having over a 1000 flowering bushes flowering all year round, they are more likely to go to that rather than fly far away to get food somewhere else.
