25.01.2022 WOWSA Massive end to the 2020 Friday night race nights, there was so much excitement around the track it was crazy! The visitor was a big hit and sugared everyone up for the last couple of races. Thanks to all the volunteers who make these nights possible, giving up more time than some people realise. The parents for bringing their kids down or jumping on the track as well, and off course the crazy kids you guys are why we do it week in week out. Sending out best wishes to J...osh, I think if we had handed out most stacks for the year, you would’ve been in the running. We hope everyone enjoyed their night at Beenleighs Christmas break up race night, training is still going ahead for a few more weeks, keep an eye on Facebook for updates. There is still Nerang City Champs, Bayside Open Day and the Country champs up in Gladstone before we shut down for the year, hope to see you all trackside soon.

09.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who came down to the committee meeting yesterday arvo, was great to see some new faces and new hands on deck to help out. We will be resuming gates and racing in February and keep your eyes peeled as there will be a few changes to racing in Feb/March so we don’t clash to much with shoot out rounds. Dates for our raffles and a roster to help out will also follow. It’s our 40th year of BMX at Beenleigh so let’s make it one to remember.

08.01.2022 Successful night for the club selling raffles, huge thanks to Club Beenleigh for letting us come in and sell them (crazy kids and all) and also Beenleigh Butchery for the prizes, one of the lucky tickets went to Tim who’s pretty impressed with his rump tray! These guys are who we get our meat trays off and usually sausages too. The food upstairs was great as usual. Next raffle night is the 20th of December. ... Thanks to the Bax, Tolmie, Harris, Wright and Wellington kids for doing a great job raising money for your club.

07.01.2022 Beenleigh BMX Club, what a year....... Definitely a year we won’t forget, no club open days, no break up party, hardly any Friday night races. Despite all this there was many many people behind the scenes still pushing through and doing what we could. I believe we were the first club in QLD to hold our flats and flannies race under the new covid guidelines which helped set the standard for South Qld Shoot out and what not to take place. There was still lots of projects ta...king place around the club thanks to the tireless effort of our amazing volunteers. Coaching at the club continued as long as it could and started back up as soon as it could. Next year brings many more projects and many more exciting events and we can’t wait to see more incredible achievements from our members. Thanks to all those that give up so much of their time to make our club amazing and a super family friendly club to be involved in. Below is some of our volunteers of the year as well as some special awards, again we can’t thank you all enough. Merry Christmas to all our members and a safe and Happy New year, we hope Santa has some BMX inspired gifts under the tree. See you all trackside very soon.
