25.01.2022 1st prize in our raffle is this lovely 9ct Gold Australian Cornflower Blue Sapphire Ring. 2nd prize on the left is a Sterling Silver Two Gemstone Jasper incorporated Necklace. 3rd prize in the middle is a Sterling Silver Agate Creek Filigree Pendant on Sterling Silver Chain. 4th prize on the right is a Sterling Silver Fossilised Fish Eggs Pendant on Sterling Silver Chain. These were to be drawn at our Annual Gem Show on the 3rd October, but due to COVID the show has been cancelled. TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR THE RAFFLE FROM THE CLUB ON MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS AND SATURDAYS BETWEEN 10AM AND 3PM OR GRAB THEM FROM A MEMBER. THE RAFFLE WILL BE DRAWN ON THE 3RD OCTOBER AND WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED. 10.01.2022 There is a general meeting this Saturday 14th September at 10 am at the club-rooms Committee meeting for committee at 9 am, Gem Festival committee meeting at 9.30 am We are still looking for volunteers for our Gem Festival, and have lots and lots of positions that need to be filled.... All people volunteering for Gem Festival will get a $10 reduction in membership fees, and they will be given a 50th Gem Festival pin Fossicking trip to Audreys Crossing Sunday 15th September, either meet at club at 11 am or meet at Audreys Crossing 11.30 am Kriedeman St near Gladrose Cres Wongawallan. Kriedeman st runs left off Tamborine Oxenford Rd, and down a few kms. Bring lunch, BBQ chook or cold cuts and salads and we will all share. We are looking for Jasper and Rhodonite Bring a bucket and a small pick, you do not need anything else Hope to see you there !
