22.01.2022 This display was set up today in the club room. The lucky recipients will be children from the Pyjama Foundation. Reading pillows and toys have been made by Janina and books have been donated by many members over the past weeks. There’s a great selection of books for all ages. 15 quilts have also been made. Please have a look at the fabulous embroidered panels which were made by Marie Mc. They were sewn into quilts by Janina with others made by Hanna and Deborah. Fabric was donated by members and wadding was supplied by the club. Backings were doonas provided by Betty A and Deborah J quilted each one. This really is a splendid display of needlework and Congratulations to everyone who helped to brighten some children’s lives.

14.01.2022 Had a great day with Scan n cut today .... Linda hosted and provided home made morning tea (scones) and lunch (quiche and salad... as well as apple strudel!). Delicious! We showed our appreciation by our empty plates.... Liz was our tutor and a mine of information and support... leading us in 4 projects ready for Christmas... Thankyou to all for a thoroughly enjoyable day.

12.01.2022 From Janina: On Thursday lots of goodies went off to The Pyjama Foundation With Kathy Black. I take this opportunity to thank you all who have contributed one way or the other towards this deserving cause giving some happiness to the Children in Foster Care. I especially want to thank Marie Mac for her amazing quilt tops and Deborah Jones for doing the amazing quilting in a hurry and Ann Haylock and Fay for sewing the binding. Lets make next year bigger with more quilts. Ple...ase give generously to a child who may have nothing else to cherish. Thankyou everyone.
