18.01.2022 NEW TRADING HOURS: With new restrictions in place, we’ve made the really tough decision to change our days and hours of operation in an attempt to keep the doors open. Our capacity has now reduced to 45 so bookings are also really appreciated! We’ve also decided that every minute we are open should be a happy one so from Tuesday, we will be running our LAST DRINKS hoppy hour. If we’re open, it’s hoppy hour. That’s $8 pints, $7 wines & spirits and $14 tap cocktails. We may as well go out with a bang! Keep supporting your locals everyone! It‘s never been more important. Due to new government announcements, we have served our last meal and beverage on premise @beerrepublictavern for the foreseeable future. It’s hard to fathom that only 7 months ago, we were getting ready to open our doors , which we did to such an overwhelming reception from our local community. No one could have predicted we would be in this position today. To our team, thank you so much for making this such an incredib...le and enjoyable start to a business! We truly cherish the effort you have all put in. Our focus now shifts as we continue to work on our home delivery alcohol options and will be sure to keep you updated once this is ready to go. Not far now In the meantime, our neighbours @trader.restaurant within the Mantra Hotel on Cooper Street are open from 7am for take-away food and coffee so be sure to stop in if you’re in the area and support another great local business. 08.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN With the new indoor gathering restrictions put in place this morning for 100 people and over, we want to let you know that we are continuing to trade through our usual hours. As we all face ever changing challenges and obstacles, we are taking the safety and well-being of our customers, staff and community very seriously. We continue to stay up to date with all new measures put in place while continuing to modify the way we work to ensure additional care is take...n. These are tough times for us all but it is important that we take medical advice seriously and closely follow all protective measures. We continue to work through ways to get your favourite food and drinks to you. We have a full takeaway license so at any time, take away beverage is available to all of our customers (and food not far away). We are in the process of enabling in store pick up and home delivery service, which we will update you on once it is ready to go. Where it’s is safe to do so, please continue to support local business. It’s has never been a more important message. We all need a little bit of normality in our lives right now and local business, especially your local pub has always been that pillar in our communities, not to mention the ability to keep our local people employed! 08.01.2022 FOOTY IS NEARLY BACK While we can’t be there at the game, we want to be able to provide you with a safe environment to enjoy it live at Republic Tavern. Given the current situation, the safety of our staff and patrons is our number 1 priority and we want you to know we are taking all appropriate measures to ensure this remains the case and allow our loyal patrons the ability to maintain some normality in day to day life.... Next Thursday night, Richmond VS Carlton will be LIVE & LOUD on the big screens. We will have hoppy hour running from 5pm right through till the final siren and $15 parmas all night long. Be sure to stop in at any time for some great food, fresh cold beer and most importantly, good times. Open from 12pm everyday

06.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce that we will be re-opening our doors! Our first day of trade will be Thursday 4th June. Firstly, we would just like to say a huge thank-you for your patience and to everyone that has been supporting us over the last 2 months through our bottle-shop. We wouldn’t be in the position we are without you As we ease back into the swing of things, it might be a little different to the way you remember it. We will now be trading 3 days a week and there w...ill be 3 sittings on each day. Our food menu will be a little smaller but you can rest assured that its the same friendly service and great food & drink that you remember.
