25.01.2022 Made it to @blackhopsbrisbane and feels just like being down the Goldie. It really has the Black Hops look and feel but more importantly it's got Black Hops beer, including limited releases I was the driver today so just the one, went for the Mid Range pale ale. Super refreshing drop and plenty of flavour for a mid. So good to be able to get my Black Hops fix so close to home. 19.01.2022 This isn't an attempt to be artistic, turns out @balterbrewers Hazy IPA is really hard to photograph well on a cloudy day. Very easy to drink though especially sitting at the @straddiehotel looking out over the ocean. 13.01.2022 Took a recent trip to Hudson Brewing and was very glad I did. I'll be honest the location is not the best looking ( I'm no oil painting either just quietly) but the beer...bloody outstanding! Could quite easily sit on the session ale all day, hence the name, and the IPA was an excellent drop. The pale ale was super clean and jammed full of flavour, so easy to drink, but the pick for me was the Raspberry Sour! I'm as shocked as anyone who knows my aversion to sours but this... beer was a cracker. It struck the right balance of sour and fruit and before I knew it I'd drunk the whole thing. TBH it was a one and done for, not being a big sour fan, but it is a must try if you get down there. Tucked in a little corner of Wynnum a short drive from the water Hudson Brewing is a must stop if you are Bayside and for the locals I'm sure it's already a regular watering hole. Nice work team, already planning my next visit and hopefully can take a better photo that does the delicious beer justice!

09.01.2022 Took a bit of a road trip up to Mt Tamborine to check out Cedar Creek Falls (awesome by the way) and really worked up a thirst walking through the bush. Luckily @fortitudebrewing is only a few minutes up the road so we swung in to check it out. If I had to describe the place in one word...outstanding! Its sat on top of a mountain so it already feels special but the real test of a brewery is the beer and it did not disappoint. Went for the paddle and loved every one of them. Super clean and fresh tasting with the stand-out the Golden Ale. I even liked the lager and they aren't usually for me. Grab a paddle, smash a pizza and you'll be on a one way trip to flavour town!
