24.01.2022 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Information for Customers Iolar Operational Services Pty Ltd (IOS) takes the health and safety of its staff and customers seriously. Therefore, in accordance with advice from the Australian and Queensland Departments of Health, we would like to remind customers of the ways to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. Practising good hand and sneeze/cough hygiene and keeping your distance from others when you are sick is the best defence against m...ost viruses. You should: Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, and after going to the toilet. Cover your cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues, and wash your hands. If unwell, avoid contact with others (stay more than 1.5 metres from people). Exercise personal responsibility for social distancing measures. Social distancing is one way to help slow the spread of viruses such as COVID-19. Social distancing includes staying at home when you are unwell, keeping a distance of 1.5 metres between you and other people whenever possible and minimising physical contact with people. What does this mean for the Recycle Markets? At his stage the Recycle Markets will continue to open and operate at the normal days and times. We will update you if there is any change to this status. If you are not feeling well, we encourage you to stay at home and we can serve you when you are feeling better. Bargins arrive every day so you are not missing out. Please practice Social distancing whilst attending the Recycle Markets. o This means being patient whilst waiting to be served at the cash register and standing back from other customers and staff where possible. You will be served in order of approaching the cash register. We apologise in advance if you are delayed or inconvenienced in any way.

10.01.2022 STORM CLEAN-UP UPDATE Large amounts of storm debris and green waste have been removed from the worst affected streets in Beerwah and Landsborough. If you’re in... these areas, please place remaining storm damaged green waste on the nature strip this weekend ready for collections and onsite mulching to finish on Wednesday next week. Free disposal of domestic storm damaged green waste will continue at both Buderim and Beerwah Resource Recovery Centres until Sunday 31 December (there may be long queues and your patience is appreciated). Anyone requiring further assistance from council is encouraged to call 5475 7272.
