16.01.2022 Olivia smashing 122.5kg for reps! This is the end of Olivia’s first 10 pack focused on back health and strength! Her hard work and dedication has made it a great pleasure to work alongside her. She has exceeded every expectation and I am incredibly proud of her great work. She was even able, though not a direct goal to lose a few kilos in the process! Learning to hip hinge properly is often a high priority for people new to the gym. From back health to lower body strength ...and shape there is a ton of exercise variations you have at your disposal. Hip Thrust is one among many, and it is one that Olivia has found great success with. For lower body movements in women, I often find a reluctance to use appropriate intensity, with a huge volume of bodyweight or lightweight movements representing most of the work done. Now there is definitely cause and reason for using varying intensities, but we shouldn’t shy away from using all the tools at our disposal. Ladies, you may just be stronger than you think.
