13.01.2022 To our Beerwah Community from the Treasurer of the Beerwah Rural Fire Brigade. Recently the brigade received a significant donation from one of our local businesses Armestos Transport. The amount donated to the brigade has significantly helped our brigade in improving station facilities. Some work the brigade has done with the money donated is a covered area between the station and the meeting room, extending the station, improving the electric roller doors & ensuring that ou...r fire appliances are running to their optimal levels. Last fire season as you all would know tested not only our Sunshine Coast zone but also across Australia. Our brigade assisted across the state and even went as far as to the tragic NSW fires. The donation by Armestos significantly helped our brigade through such a challenge. I am writing this message in recognition of Armestos and to express our appreciation to them & to everyone else who donated to our brigade. Thank you. Beerwah Rural Fire brigade.

07.01.2022 The NSW Rural Fire Service is investigating reports of a serious incident involving an aircraft in southern NSW this afternoon. Contact was lost with a Large Air Tanker which was working in the Snowy Monaro area. Local ground crews indicate the aircraft has crashed.... Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the three brave American crew members who were tragic casualties of this fatal crash. Rest in Peace our Brothers in Arms.

04.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the crowd restrictions in place due to Covid 19, we need to postpone our 30 year celebration indefinitely. This is disappointing but we will move it back till later this year. We apologise for any inconvenience. We are as disappointed as you are. Bear with us and 'Watch this Space'.
