25.01.2022 Merry Christmas one & all. Hope you have kicked off your Christmas holidays as early as we have. We're closing down until 6th January, and have work sitting there for our return already. Thank you to all those people who supported us during 2013 (especially Christmas - it was crazy!!). Best wishes for 2014. Carolyn & James

25.01.2022 New Years Resolution (OK, I know it's now February & I think I may have said this 13 months ago but .... ) is to keep my Bee's Embroidery facebook page more up to date. So : Post #1 : on sale for the next week (until Friday 15th Feb) : velour towels with name embroidered, with small critter included if you wish. RRP $22 + postage. Get it here now for $15 + postage or pickup from Vermont. Colour co-ordinated swimming bags / bucket hats are also available. We don't have a "price range" as such, it's all dependent on the size of the embroidery you need done, and whether you wanted something supplied with it e.g. towel or garment.

23.01.2022 Too many new things happening at once - now know how to do applique too. (Applique is where you have a piece of shaped material e.g. a love heart and have stitching around the outside edge of it both framing the material, usually in a complimentary colour, and stitching it to the underneath fabric). Talk about demand and supply - Melanie rang up and asked if I did applique. No, but I'm sure I can learn so long as you don't need the item tomorrow!! She wanted something done on a snappy crotch baby singlet for her daughter's 2nd birthday. Done, and I was pretty happy with the result, but not in a hurry to repeat the exercise though! Will upload pics in the next day or so.

22.01.2022 Made our first big foray into screenprinting this week - a kinder in kilysth. The hats are still embroidered though, and personalised for some of the kids. Loving our screenprinter - family business that are professional & really nice. Pics uploaded shortly.

13.01.2022 OK OK, so I've been really really really (!) bad about updating my facebook page. We've had a few new customers, and quite a few returning ones. I love my kinders, the parents are so enthusiastic. I will organise to post some stuff over the weekend, should get my kids to help me. They know more about this than I do. Beanies are starting to really take off again as the cold weather has hit us. We're now really branching out into the screenprinting too. Some of our new kinders prefer this on their tshirts, windcheaters etc, and we're doing a large job (half embroidery, half screen printing) for a company in Bayswater.

12.01.2022 Bargains are sometimes just that, other times they're cheap for a reason. A customer bought me this cute kids apron to have a name put on. Wiping it over took the paint off (look at the top of froggie's eyes). Hmmmmm

The sacks with the snowflakes along the top are sold 'as is', for $14, all others can come as is or with personalised names. 11.01.2022 Business is a little quiet at the moment, gives us a chance to catch up on the paperwork and we're all about the quality over the quantity. We've had so many positive comments about jobs we're completing for customers. Thanks everyone!!

11.01.2022 So end of financial year has now passed (phew) and we're back to work again. New customers seem to be finding us through the yellow pages and google. We've had a few 'word of mouth' customers, so thanks to those of you who have passed our details on. We've added digital printing to our skill set, and now, in partnership with another local business, supply the uniform shop for a local primary school. Nothing like learning on the run!

The school has recently outsourced the uniform shop. Not everyone is happy with the quality of the garments with the new supplier. I tried to do something about it before the deal was signed, but to no avail, so I'm doing something now.
