18.01.2022 Caught a swarm yesterday, in a car boot of all places. Easiest extraction ever and the friendliest bees yet! Did you know there are friendly bees and naughty ones too? If you have angry bees you can requeen with a nice one and they all follow suit! Well the new babies are nice so in a few weeks you have friendly bees!

17.01.2022 Swarm season in full effect. These little ladies were hanging out at a carpark...... Right next to the original swarm we went to collect. Easy peasey, except we had to go home to get another box. Bees are now safe from exterminators and I ended up with 2 stings.... Unlucky for some :( but worth it

15.01.2022 Hello little friend! This little lady landed on my knee.... She obviously thinks I'm a flower We're yet to extract any honey this year as it's been a bad season so far. But I can smell it wafting from the hives! OMG it's good! We had a look on the weekend and it's only a week or so away now... Happy Christmas to us! Yipeeee!

11.01.2022 10 degrees and the bees don't mind. They were out at 6 degrees a few hours ago but only a couple here and there..... Never cease to amaze me

08.01.2022 OMG OMG OMG! Maribrynong City Council are spraying weeds in the park with STEAM! OMFG! Today is a gooooood day I just called to confirm if this is the new method.... And yes it is around parks and community areas they will be using steam!! Other methods in other areas are by hand and using Slasher (a certified organic weedkiller which I need to research).... But anyhoo congratulations to MCC on a fantastic move forward! #steampower #todayisagoodday #beesimple #savethebees
