24.01.2022 We bet that when you think of the Flinders Ranges, fishing doesn't come to your mind. What if we told you that there are plenty of places that you could drop yo...ur line, like the Beetaloo Reservoir? Located just east of Port Pirie in the Southern Flinders Ranges, you can fish for golden perch, silver perch and Murray cod off the shore. Pack a picnic to make a day of it or stay at Beetaloo Grove, explore neighboring towns. You could have lunch at the Stone Hut Bakery and Petting Zoo, saying hello to the residents of course before heading to enjoy Golden North Ice Cream in Laura. Please note, you will need a permit to fish from Beetaloo Reservoir which can be obtained online. Not all businesses are trading as usual at the moment so please call ahead. Bookings advised.
