Whether it be home-grown produce or you simply have a few things in your fridge or pantry that you're not going to use- let's work together to create a community of sharing food. We all go through times of hardship, no matter who we are or what our situation- things change without warning, and sometimes things are continuously challenging for many people. 12.01.2022 Now the shops are open again, the Prime Minister has encouraged us to go out and spend, spend, spend! As George Monbiot says: "If the answer is shopping, we're ...asking ourselves the wrong questions". Spend your hard-earned cash wisely - shop locally, shop ethically, buy second hand, invest in yourself - a greener diet perhaps, grow your own, buy the tools you need to make and mend things, invest in goodies that will be useful or bring you joy for years. Of course we must re-build, but I hope it won't be the same insane consumerism as before. I painted this "The Green Revolution" in February, just before the pandemic struck - it chimes now more than ever.
