02.01.2022 Self love is the small things.. It's the small things we do for ourselves every day that make us feel nurtured. It's not some big landmark you reach where you are finally now completely healed and love yourself fully no matter what in every moment.... Self love is: It's taking a deep breath when you feel stressed. It's going for a walk with your dog and enjoying the breeze. It's having a nice hot shower after a hard day. It's rubbing your own shoulders when they are hurting. It's allowing yourself to not be ok sometimes and sit with those emotions. It's realising when you've been sitting in those emotions too much and decide to watch a funny movie. It's noticing our inner dialogue and changing the way we speak to ourselves. It's sitting in the sun with a cup of tea. It's lighting a candle and setting a nice space to read a book. It's cuddling your dog instead of sitting on social media. It's putting your hand on your heart and connecting in to yourself. It's deciding you need some alone time and actually take it. Every small thing you do for yourself that nurtures your soul is an act of self love. Keep on lovin' yourself one step at a time beautiful souls.
