22.01.2022 Not long to go now for the 2020 "Zdravei" Bulgarian Festival. We have a bumper programme - including Bulgarian singing, dancing, cooking demonstration with Rilka Warbanoff, appearances by Paul Vasileff (Paolo Sebastian), Hamish Hartlett (Port Adelaide Football Club). This all to go with an amazing selection of Bulgarian cuisine. Kids are looked after too with a jumping castle and petting zoo. FREE ENTRY. 18.01.2022 Less than a week away from the 2020 "Zdravei" Bulgarian Festival. An event like this take a lot of hard work from many different areas. A special acknowledgment for the continued support of Government of South Australia, Jing Lee, MLC (South Australia), Matt Cowdrey - Member for Colton and City Of Charles Sturt. A big THANK YOU, it certainly goes a long way to making this a great event for all to enjoy.

17.01.2022 The Bulgarians' Education and Friendly Society has taken the following steps that follow government and current health recommendation for this time with COVID_19. It is important that we take the following steps to ensure all aspects of our community and families health is protected against COVID_19. To comply with government and health recommendations, the following events / activities will be suspended effective immediately.... - Friday Night dinners - Dancing practice The following items will continue as they are within government and health guidelines. Hand sanitiser and increased hygiene will be in place. It is also expected that we all comply with acceptable social distancing - Friday Night the bar will be open from 6:30pm - Monthly Sewing will continue The BEFS Committee will continue to monitor government guidelines and respond to the situation as developments come to hand. 11.01.2022 This Sunday 8 November from 10am, the Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Church St Petka will hold a liturgy and a memorial service for those who have passed.
