10.01.2022 Bega Dental Surgery and Laboratory wishes to reassure our patients that we are taking every precaution possibly to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Starting Monday 23/3/2020, the following protocols will be put in place 1. When entering surgery please sanitize your hands upon arrival.... 2. You will be asked to stand back from front counter. 3. If possible please come alone for your appointment as our waiting room has reduced seating arrangement. 4. Please be patient with our receptionists as they will be asking you a series of questions when you are making or attending your appointments. 5. Although cash is acceptable, paying by contactless cards is the preferred way. 6. All patients having dental treatment will be given an antiseptic mouth rinse before treatment. If you are unwell or have any flu like symptoms, please phone reception to re-appoint or cancel your existing appointment. It is advised not to enter the clinic if you are feeling unwell. 03.01.2022 An Update Regarding COVID-19: In response to Covid-19 spread ,our practice will be reducing our office hours to care for only EMERGENCY patients of our clinic. We are postponing all other routine procedure until further notice. We here at Bega Dental Surgery support the efforts to slow the spread of the virus in order to minimize the strain on our hospitals and urgent care facilities and look forward to getting back to work helping patients with their dental needs. If you are... suffering from a toothache while we are currently unable to provide regular treatments due to COVID-19 restrictions, here are some tips to help you in the meantime: To help with the pain, use over-the-counter pain killers, as per the instructions on the box Ensure you maintain good oral hygiene, brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and flossing daily To prevent further decay, reduce the amount of high sugar foods you consume We are still able to care for our patients who are experiencing severe pain, swelling or dental trauma, so if you are experiencing a dental emergency, please don't hesitate to contact us on 64921019 to find out if you meet the criteria for emergency treatment.
