10.01.2022 When our founder Rachelli Yaafe-Payne was struggling to make friends in a new city one suggestion was to learn something, sign up to a course. Problem was she didn't know what she wanted to do and she wasn't feeling very confident in herself so she didn't want to go alone. When Valerie from South Perth Learning Centre approaced her in 2017, suggesting they put something together for what was then just a facebook group, Rachelli couldn't turn it down. Friend HER was born a c...ourse running for 9 weeks showcasing different crafts each week and helping the women on the course form lasting friendships. 2019 sees the introduction of all new crafts! Week 1 is an introduction to the course, we look at personality types and the 5 love languages and what the importance of these things are in our life. Week 2 Embroidery with Ana. Week 3 Brush lettering with Mystrie. Week 4 Is a public holiday, those of our students that don't have labour day plans, will be invited for a drink at a location near South Perth Learning Centre.
