11.01.2022 Would love to have a sound designer comment on this.

11.01.2022 It's been 20 years since Baz Luhrmann debuted his sophomore film and probably the best Shakespeare film adaptation Romeo + Juliet. Here he talks about how they brought his language to the screen and used wardrobe and production design to bring these characters to life.

07.01.2022 Behind the Screens began 6 years ago on a Wednesday night. Since then we moved to Saturdays, expanded the team and grew to a 90 minute show. It's been a blast! This Saturday will be our last show for 2016, and quite possibly, for ever. We hope to keep Behind the Screens alive in some way next year but we are in need of a break. We'll still be posting film news on our facebook page, and you can still listen back to all our great interviews on radio.adelaide.edu.au Many thanks ...to Chrissy Kavanagh who started the show with me all those years ago (pictured below, looking cheeky), to Jordan Archer who kept me sane, Finley McNeilage who has improved a lot, Dianne Janes who brought experience and nouse and Robert Tompkins who kept the show alive with me for the past year. And of course we couldn't have done this without the support of the many people who work at Radio Adelaide, who believed in the show and our team. We hope to see you soon! - Rebecca Elliott See more

03.01.2022 It's our last show for 2016, and maybe for quite a while! Tune in from 11am to hear Karena Slaninka from The Media Resource Centre talk about their 2017 initiatives, Janelle Mason from CinemaLive talks to us about the Andre Rieu juggernaut and Sophie, Bronte and Megan from WIFT talk to us about the sausage party that is the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA)s and the protests WIFT lead this week. Big show. Last show. Tune in! Radio Adelaide

02.01.2022 When we started Behind the Screens six years ago we wanted to really investigate how the bloody hell do you get into the film industry. It's fitting now on our 6 year anniversary, we talk to Matthew Webb, an assistant director who wrote Setlife by Matthew Webb about his expierences...well..on set! We're also talking to the new CEO of AIDC - Australian International Documentary Conference Andrew Wiseman about their newly announced VR program. Tune in from 11am on Radio Adelaide!
