If you have received meeting or below for A and R it might be good to have an outsider come and look at your centre from a different perspective. We all are bias with our services but sometimes it is good to have someone come in and look with different eyes. Please contact me if you would like to find out more.

21.01.2022 Hi everyone I have been so busy with my other job lately and family that I have not concentrated on my little business. 21.01.2022 Sorry everyone that I have not written much lately. I have been really busy with my fulltime job working with people with barriers to employment. I work with people with disabilities and help them find suitable jobs. It is so rewarding. I have not forgotten about my business. I am looking at re branding it at the moment and want to make sure that I giving you the best possible mentoring that there is possible

19.01.2022 I have come up with a new workshop........... Back to basics around the table.......... This would be held locally within a cafe environment........ General discussions about childrens services and assistance with those questions people really need answering. Great way of networking and having someone there to assist with those questions and problems you might be having. The discussion groups will be $50 per person with a min. of 10 people. This will include lunch...... let me know if you want to book one

18.01.2022 Here are some tips.......... Refrain from doing dot painting to represent Aboriginal art ..... this is contemporary versions of art and is influenced by the Dutch from back in the 1800s. Original art was blow art.........do not use the word Indigenous as this means the original owners of what ever country. Here in Australia is Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. I was lucky enough to receive some training on Friday with a company called Pindari and had the most amazing learning experience. 17.01.2022 Over the last few months I have been concentrating on my fulltime position is disability employment although I have been doing some background work for my little business. I missed sharing my experiece and knowledge with centres so now it is time to be back............. What training needs are you looking at this year.......... let me know.......... 15.01.2022 Hi everyone what a busy few weeks I have had. I am now working fulltime and running my business which I love. I am now an employment advisor for a Jobactive provider. It has been great working with all walks of life. I have been working with many young people and many others. It is great to help people in getting that job of their dreams. I am still doing training and much more. I am one busy person LOL at the moment.

Wow so many businesses do not know the support they can get for hiring some one with a disability. 06.01.2022 During early childhood, having warm, responsive and predictable relationships with families and educators is a particularly important protective factor for a childs mental health.

03.01.2022 Tip of the day: For assessment and rating remember that you need to make sure everything you have said in your philosophy is covered in your policies and procedures and you are practicing it everyday in your practices with each other and the children. If you are purchasing policies and procedures make sure they are relative to your service and that it is covered in your philosophy eg you mention you in bed sustainability into your daily program, You must have a p/p for this mentioning that you do it and how you do it and then make sure it is done daily. Some might say we do this but let me tell you alot of centres do not........

02.01.2022 I have been working fulltime lately and have not really posted much on my page. I would like to discuss so issues in regards W H and S. I have spoken to a few centres of late and they are not recording hazards and risk assessments properly. Please allocate a folder with all hazard reports blank and completed, risk assessments (do the same), information on staff health eg ways of promoting health etc. This should be in one area. Also make sure you have a W H and S policy and refrain from calling it O H and S as the legislation changed ages ago.

02.01.2022 I taught mosaic art for years and years back in the day. I almost forgot actually how great it was, until I saw this! We used to do stuff like this all the tim...e with k-6th graders.
