25.01.2022 Meet the Bel & Brio Team: GIANNI Gianni is our head pizza chef! He is originally from Sardinia, where he learned how to make pizza. However, the pizzas that come from Sardinia are quite different from the ones we make at Bel & Brio. He worked in multiple top pizzerias in both Italy and Australia to master the different styles of pizza making. Gianni is a professional and reliable person and has a great attitude and passion for his job. He is always trying to improve his skills to provide the best quality as possible. And its that love and passion that make the Bel & Brio Pizzas the best in Sydney!

22.01.2022 Ever wondered what makes a Pizza Oven so special? A pizza oven has so much mass and insulation in its thick walls, that it reaches temperatures of over 485 degrees celsius and it will remain this hot for a long time. Because its shape, a certain level of humidity is captured inside the oven, giving the pizza dough its typical crispy crust. The high temperatures charcoal the toppings and caramelise the cheese after its melted. Speaking of perfection?! And this all within 90 seconds, where a normal oven would take at least 10 times longer.

04.01.2022 Meet the Bel & Brio Team: ANNA & GREG Anna & Greg are two of our regular guests. A few weeks ago we took the opportunity to thank one of our other regular guests, Ruth. Turned out Greg felt a bit left out . To be fair, Greg and Anna are almost part of the furniture at Bel & Brio, so we cant blame him! So this week we want to take this opportunity to thank Greg and Anna for everything they have done for us! They have been supporting Bel & Brio through thick and thin. E...ven when we had to close our restaurant during COVID, they were still constantly visiting Bel & Brio for take-away, shopping in The Marketplace and The Cellar, or ordering online from our website. According to Anna, we serve the best coffee in Sydney! They both love an almond flat white with some cinnamon on top, however, Greg also has his own special coffee order (which we can highly recommend after a long day). You can find them several days a week at Bel & Brio, so you will likely run into them during your next visit. If theyre not visiting Bel & Brio by themselves, they are bringing in their clients for a long business lunch or dinner.
