12.01.2022 Stage 4 Restrictions Update **** Closed temporarily Thursday **** As of midnight tonight several changes have occurred to you receiving ongoing treatment at Chiropractic clinics in metro Melbourne until September 13. No matter how long you’ve been a client with us, until sept 13 we will require a GP referral letter to be permitted to treat you, these are easy to get, often over the phone and should be Medicare billed. ... So, whilst we endeavour to transitions to the new normal, all appointments for tomorrow, Thursday 6 th of August, UNLESS you are utilising a current CDM or EPC scheme through a GP are now cancelled. As of next week we will be open reduced hours across the week enabling you to access chiropractic care. Stay tuned for updates and steps needed to receive chiropractic care in the coming 6 weeks. We are aware this is very inconvenient to you all and last minute, but the new rules are being made on the hop and are still not yet finalised. Endeavouring to stop the spread of this devastating virus we all have to do our bit and this slight inconvenience is our bit. So.... Expect a call or a txt from Kerry, Mary or Tracy in the coming days and weeks cancelling your appointments and giving further advice re rescheduling protocol. The latest update will affect if and how we can care for you. To qualify for treatment you must have a chiropractic condition that if you couldn’t see us you would have to ring an ambulance and go to an emergency dept for urgent pain relief and care. Or you are deemed to have a chronic degenerative condition that will deteriorate if treatment is withheld for 6 weeks and significantly impact your wellbeing and mobility. If you require further clarification please consult a GP for a referral letter, which can be via Telehealth. UNDER THESE TWO CONDITIONS ONLY, WE CAN TREAT YOU. Upon arrival at the clinic you will be asked a series of questions, you must have a mask on, you must use the sanitiser and undertake all Covid hygeniene strategies, social distancing where practical. You are not permitted to enter the clinic if you are Covid+ or have had a Covid test recently or have been in close contact with a Covid+ person.should As such modified clinic hours are now in effect.
