24.01.2022 Happy Vet Nurses Day! On behalf of all of the vets at Belconnen Animal Hospital, thank you to all our nurses. Without your untiring efforts, nothing would be possible at the practice. You make our lives manageable, you put up with our mess and our stress, and you keep the practice running.

18.01.2022 We are currently experiencing phone and internet issues, so if you can't reach us on 62542122, please email us at [email protected] or you can book an appointment online at our website belvet.com.au

15.01.2022 Meet Sebastian, he's quite the dude. Last week he managed to fracture the top of his femur at the hip joint. Not cool. In these cases the fractured piece is too small to re-attach, and if left it will cause chronic hip problems. So what we did with Sebastian is perform surgery to remove the entire top of the femur, including the fractured piece, and we reconstruct a "false" joint in the hip without any bony attachment. Cats cope very well with this procedure, and we saw Sebastian for his one week check up, and he is already cruising around using the leg quite happily!

05.01.2022 Want to help fight cancer and keep your pupper relaxed and happy at the vet at the same time?! We're fundraising for Canteen's National Bandana Day, to help raise money for childhood cancer, and when you buy a bandana, we can spray it with Adaptil for free to use on your dog. Adaptil is a natural pheromone that comforts and reassures dogs and puppies to help them feel calm and relaxed. It's especially helpful for dogs that might feel a bit stressed by their visit to the vet.

03.01.2022 This is Major and Champ. They are the dogs of Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden. Champ has already been to the White House, but Major hasn’t yet. Champ can’t wait to show him around. Both 14/10 would be an honor to pet
