21.01.2022 TO MY KHMER FRIENDS. When you shift your focus, your mindset, your fear, your thinking or your meaning, your world begins to shift too. These are some of the chapters in my Book shift happens - 10 effective thinking skills for young people. Edited and translated by A Proper Woman author Thavry Thon, and now available in Khmer Language at: My Bookshop Cambodia, IBC Bookstores, Kingsway Cambodia, Scholar Library and Monument Books.

21.01.2022 I did a couple of quick training sessions for a client here in Sydney. Thought I’d pass them on. The first one is called "building great remote teams", and I quickly look at 5 key practices for you as a leader to consider and adopt in this season of uncertainty, isolation and leading remotely. 21.01.2022 So much fun hanging out with the kids from CCF and the Kingsway team

21.01.2022 My first week living in Phnom Penh has been full of adjustments, challenge and discovery. Meeting new and amazing people, adjusting to the heat (and the storms) and getting my head around my role with Cambodian Childrens Fund. Privileged to be partnering with beautiful people on a mission to make this world a better place. Missing home and family but grateful for this life changing opportunity.

20.01.2022 I started researching and writing this book over 3 years ago, long before our Covid-19 global crisis. A book about navigating the space between our dreams and ...reality, a space that many are finding themselves in right now. Available through Amazon. This book is about hope when our identity, purpose and belonging is being challenged, threatened and questioned. The stories and insights shared in its pages are raw, emotional and real. My aim in sharing the pain, struggles and challenges of others is to inspire hope, encourage dreams and offer up some fresh perspectives on navigating through lifes challenges.

20.01.2022 Cambodian Childrens Fund do so many amazing things in their community. The evening feeding program is just one of many. Operating in 5 locations 7 nights a week and feeding around 200 hungry beautiful kids each night. Such a privilege working alongside these incredible people.

19.01.2022 COMING SOON: excited to have my book, SHiFT HAPPENS published in Khmer language. www.beleadership.net

18.01.2022 This is the new leadership trainer at CCF, Kimhour. Such a great man who is inspiring and transforming the lives of young people. He laughs. He loves. He learns. Brilliant to be mentoring him.

17.01.2022 Hi friends. Just reaching out to see if anyone can throw some support to HFCA. Happy Football Cambodia Australia are BBFCs partner club here in Cambodia. I know were all being asked to support this or support that, so totally understand if this isnt something you can or want to do. Just putting it out there. Thanks, Bretta Go to www.hfca.org.au/donate and join the tribe who are changing the world, through football, one life at a time. Imagine if football could create fre...edom in young persons life. Creating hope, purpose, safety, community, opportunity and direction. Well thats exactly what the impact that HFCA is having on young boys and girls in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Disadvantaged, impoverished and even homeless young people given belonging, acceptance and purpose. Its inspiring and extraordinary the impacts we see in the lives of these young people. HFCA relies fully on the support, sponsorship and donations of generous people just like you, who want to see lives changed through the game we love. 15.01.2022 Matters of the heart - how isolation means were all doing long distant relationships.

13.01.2022 In these very uncertain times of crisis, isolation and disruption: Check in with your neighbour, serve those less fortunate, talk about the future, reach out to that older person down the street, call your friend, FaceTime your kids, shop for someone in need, call your mum, drop some cash in the homeless persons hands, pray for others, watch something inspiring, offer your help, live generously, donate more, listen to happy music and be a voice of kindness, hope and peace.

13.01.2022 React or Respond We react from emotion which often results in blame, excuses and hurting others. We respond from thoughtful reflection which more often results in reconciliation, taking responsibility and helping others. In a world filled with chaos, crisis and challenge, lets learn to respond and not simply react.

12.01.2022 In this season some are thriving, some are just surviving and others are diving. If you’re diving, take heart: own it, share it and then change it. https://vimeo.com/415029349

08.01.2022 The 3 essential questions we all seek answers to. Who am I, why am I here and where do I fit?

05.01.2022 Great to be part of the CCF mini camp with a brilliant group of leaders, staff and students. The CCF camping program is an integral part of developing young leaders. Great stuff.

03.01.2022 Great to have Football NSW supporting my work here in Phnom Penh. https://footballnsw.com.au//football-nsw-coach-education-/

01.01.2022 Great to journey alongside these amazing entrepreneurs in environmental start ups, as a leadership mentor, with the Accelerate 2030 program at Impact Hub in Phnom Penh.

01.01.2022 Hi friends. This is very close to my heart and to the heart of any football (soccer) fan, and lover of making a difference. Im volunteering in Phnom Penh in coach education supporting coaches and players at HFCA who have all come from disadvantaged, at risk and homeless backgrounds. All the players we coach are from the poorest communities in Phnom Penh. We bring hope. Some direction. Lots of fun and create competitive opportunities. (Including the homeless World Cup) Becoming a monthly sponsor adds incredible value to the lives of these young people or you can give a one off donation at www.hfca.org.au. You can claim it on tax too. Thanks friends. Bretta
