Role #0004 We are currently looking for an "In-house Designer (Sales Department)" at our Head Office in Hallam. This is a full time, entry-level position with opportunities to grow/ascend within the company. You will oversee and be responsible for all creative duties. You will work as part of the Sales Department meeting clients. Your daily tasks will also include some general administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as necessary. As our team grows, you will have more support staff to assist you. Key Responsibilities include (but may not be limited to): -- Design -- Overseeing and designing all creative responsibilities such as creating: - Profession presentation of uniform designs (storyboards) to schools/clients - Design, create, manage marketing/advertising materials - Garment Technical Illustrations (CAD) - Designing uniform items as requested from the school - Brand Identity Logo design etc - Communications with printers/suppliers - Taking photos & editing images using Adobe suites Work with Sales Team to create appropriate illustrations, images, storyboards etc. for schools Quality Control and Preparing Sample Comments Able to suggest ideas and design uniforms in client meetings to visually present concepts Create Uniform Design Specification Sheets -- In-House Designer (Sales) -- Accounts Manager for Schools/Clients Cold Calling potential new clients Meetings with Schools/Clients Attend Sales Conferences Clear communications via Telephone, email, meetings with Clients, Manufacturers, Printers.. Understand the specific needs of Schools’ and their community Work with clients to meet their needs i.e. creation of new uniform item/s, problem solve any issues risen Ensure timely production of items To be successful in this role, you will have: Tertiary Qualification in Graphic, Communication, or Fashion Design Proficient use of Adobe Suite especially Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign (CAD) Ability to work with different people, schools and clients Strong attention to detail & the ability to prioritise tasks Strong computer skills in MS Suite Discretion in relation to confidential information is vital A proactive & flexible approach to work (hours & venue) General Garment construction knowledge and experience would give the candidate ABSOLUTE ADVANTAGE A Working with Children’s Check is preferred but can be applied for subsequently Driver’s Licence be able to travel Please send your application to [email protected] with your CV and Portfolio.
