OR SIMPLY USE A PAPERCLIP! Or even a ribbon or shoelace! Do an Internet search for 'EAR SAVERS' for ideas or to buy from a small maker. Wanna make them for the BelFin shop? 23.01.2022 MASK TOO BIG? YOU NEED 'PETITE'. ...Turns out, faces come in many different sizes. When it comes to facemasks, there's LENGTH of your face - from where the mask should sit on your nose bridge. WIDTH - from ear-to-ear across the nose. And then there are all sorts of protrusions of different depths at different heights on your face! So now we see how facial recognition works. You're all so different! Our early masks for adults were a little smaller than they are now. But we've... heard that smaller women and teens need a smaller mask. So we've made a range of SMALL ADULT masks. They normally suit those under about 5' 3" (161cm) but if you're taller and have narrow face - like a few of our customers - you may be even 5'5" and require a 'Small adult' mask. 21.01.2022 Wearing a mask is weird. It takes some getting used to. Its uncomfortable, the breathing can be weird - especially if you are already a bit anxious. The ear elastics or head band can be uncomfortable. You may have to re-tie them a couple of times. They can feel too small, too big or just too weird! The way you communicate with your facial expression, completely changes - watch the eyes for smiles. Be patient with yourself and your mask. <3

19.01.2022 Face veils. These days. I’m more of an inventor/ product designer than fashion designer. This is my latest invention. Last prototype before making some for other peeps. It’s a #faceveil for #melbournefacemasks by #BelFin. . They’re not for inhibiting the covid virus. They’re for outdoors when there are few people around. They’re for eating and drinking. Theyre for my sons friend who has asthma and a doctors certificate but wants to not be looked at funny. They’re... for my mates mum who gets abused for not wearing a mask when she is walking with her deaf daughter (she needs to read lips) they’re for running and cycling where you need to respirate hard but you’d prefer to wear SOMETHING as a face covering. 17.01.2022 CUTE! I’ve been making these headbands for almost a year now and they are AWESOME. I have hair that doesn’t keep headbands on. (White girl hair). So it’s been great to find a style that stays on for hours. EVEN WHEN THROWING SHAPES ON THE DANCEFLOOR! This one is a lil Mini Mouse. Or a little Petticoat Junction.

Solution: Wash or 'quarantine' your protective face masks. Washing is warm hand wash only - no washines, not hot. I recommend a natural low-chemical detergent. Quarantine period is minimum 3 days to be sure. Even 5. It's up to you. Harvard Health says the disease is more likely to survive on a hard surface than a soft surface like fabr...ic. And the New England Journal of Medicine revealed plastic is the surface the virus remains viable on for the longest, which is up to 72 hours. 'Preliminary research has suggested the virus can survive longer on harder surfaces like plastic and metal, this could be from a few hours to several days. On stainless steel the virus was detected up to 48 hours after application.For cardboard it was 24 hours and for copper the virus lived just four hours.
