23.01.2022 Should we get orchids back in? What other flowers would you like to see added to our range?

11.01.2022 ?... But what’s the difference? DRIED, as the name suggests is essentially just leaving a cut plant or flower to naturally dry out over time. Normally hung upside down in a dark dry place this lets all the moisture come out of the plant leaving behind a dried product that will last a long time. This process can be great for natives and foliage, but for flowers like roses it results in loss of volume, a crinkly crispy texture and brown discolouration. PRES...ERVED flowers and plants go through a special two step process. This involves submerging the cut flower or foliage in a dehydrating solution drawing all the moisture out. It then goes through a second process submerging it in a natural glycerin based solution. This step replaces the lost moisture content with the stabilised solution keeping the bloom plump and fresh looking resulting in a eco friendly and non toxic flower that looks just like a fresh cut one but lasts a lot longer!
