14.01.2022 Hi Belgrave Junior cricket kids and families. Hope everyone is staying safe and well during these tough times. Belgrave Junior Cricket Club are looking forward to the upcoming 2020/2021 season. We had a lot of fun last season with some promising results. This coming season we look to build an even stronger club and provide a pathway for our junior players who want to move into senior cricket. The Senior Belgrave Cricket club are working with the Junior club to make this our best season ever. At this stage we have no confirmed season start dates or training dates due to the COVID 19 restrictions. We will keep you all updated on this Facebook page when we confirm some dates. 10.01.2022 An awesome win to finish the season for the Belgrave under 16 kids playing for Wantirna South. The game was evenly poised heading into today with Heathwood four runs ahead and both teams four wickets down. Some fantastic bowling by Wantirna Sth restricted Heathwood to an overall lead of 33. Captain Cam Baker was sensational taking 3/4 off 7 overs. ... Caspa Wallis-Carney 2/12 off 9 overs. Bailey Lubin 2/12. Mason Kaye 1/10. Ash Carroll and Jacob Underwood also bowled well. In response Jacob Underwood looked composed 21 No. Bailey Lubin 12. Caspa Wallis-Carney 9. Mason Kaye 5. An awesome run chase. Wantirna South winning by 12 runs. Well done to all involved with the team. Real improvement was shown by all , which is a credit to Coach Steve Berger. A great association between two proud clubs to form the team.

08.01.2022 Our Junior Blasters kick off this Friday night at 5:30-6:30pm at Belgrave Reserve. For those unsure what it’s all about come on down and let them have a try. Kids aged 5-9yrs old

07.01.2022 A nail biter to end the season with Knox Gardens hitting the winning runs off the last ball of the game. Belgrave 5-94. Nicko Litterbach retired 12. Ollie Millar retired 9.... Jasper Peacock retired 8. Knox Gardens 6-98. Ollie Millar 1/2. Josh Underwood 1/4. Jasper Gartrell-David 1/7. Also direct hit run outs to Josh Underwood and Riley Jubb. Combined fielding from Ollie Millar and Nicko Litterbach resulted in another runout. Well done to all the boys for a great season. See you at Presentation night in a few weeks time. Go Belly.

07.01.2022 A tough game at home on Friday night saw Belgrave under 12s 5/67 lose to Eildon Park Cougars 9/132. Tight bowling from the Cougars restricted Belgrave to a modest score of 67. Mads Peacock 10 retired. Archie Roberts 7 retired. Jasper Gartrell- David 5 retired.... Jasper Peacock 6 not out. Belgrave were quite dynamic in the field with 6 run outs. Two direct hits from Mads Peacock, and one direct hit from Ollie Millar and one direct hit from Taj Dyer. Mads and Archie were also involved in getting run-outs with wicket keeper Nicko Litterbach. Jasper Peacock also took a great catch. Wickets to Akil Malwatta 1/11. Jack Rourke 1/9. Riley Jubb 1/18. Some great fielding by the whole team. All the hard work at training is paying off. Go Belly.
