18.01.2022 We are thrilled to hear that one of our patients, Mrs Helen James, was recently awarded an Order of Australia medal for her services to the Community. Helen volunteered for 26 years at Ronald McDonald House, initially near PMH and then at the new building when it moved to the Perth Childrens Hospital. Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation for families from regional areas while their children receive treatment at the Childrens hospital. At the age of 80 Helen abseiled... down the side of Central Park Tower in the Perth CBD to raise money for Ronald McDonald House. We are certain there are many families who are eternally grateful for the support Helen provided them and their families over the years. Helen has spent much of her retirement volunteering for other charities, so we are very happy to hear that her kindness has been rewarded. Congratulations Helen! See more
