24.01.2022 Well that's me done for the year - looking forward to a little break for a while and enjoying life for a bit. Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year! #merrychristmas #happynewyear #christmasbaby #holidayseason

24.01.2022 Thanks to all of my lovely clients from the past year - it was a pleasure meeting you all and I hope to see you again in the future. May everyone have a very merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year! #merrychristmas

23.01.2022 Had a great day at the Perth Baby and Children's Market yesterday. To all of those lovely people who I took photos of their adorable children, I am photoshopping the pictures as we speak and they should hopefully be on my website very soon - watch this space!

23.01.2022 You know how I said it can sometimes be hard to get photos of kids? It was beautiful little Matilda's 1st birthday party on the weekend and we were supposed to do a cake smash. Didn't really work as she had had only the smallest of naps that day and wasn't in the mood. Oh well, it's her party, she can cry of she wants to - still got a few nice shots though #phototroubles #kidsbeingkids #thesethingshappen #beautifulgirl #eventphotography #lifestylephotography

21.01.2022 Back to it for another year, and what a sweet start to the year it was with a photo shoot of the beautiful Ellie! #welcomeback #beautifulgirl #newbornphotography #athomeportraits #naturallight #studiostylephoto #whatacutie

17.01.2022 Here's a little sneak peek from a shoot I did on the weekend of little Theodore. He was awake for most of the shoot so this sleepy shot on mum's shoulder is just precious! #gorgeousboy #sleepybaby #newbornphotography #capturingtheconnection

16.01.2022 New financial year and finally back to work after corona! So grateful to live here in WA - it meant I was able to photograph this little cutie. Her parents call her their little genetic throwback - two dark skinned, dark eyed parents producing this pale skinned, blue eyed baby girl. Just like her older siblings who I had the privilege of photographing a few years ago, she's too cute! #beautifulgirl #maoriheritage #studiostyle #naturallight #athomephotography

16.01.2022 4 months sure flies by! I did a photo shoot of this beautiful little lady back in June when she was just a newborn and got the opportunity to see how much she had grown when i was asked to take photos at her naming ceremony. #beautifulgirl #whatacutie #eventphotography #familyandfun

16.01.2022 Happy Easter to everyone! I know it may seem unusual in these trying times but I hope everyone can keep their spirits up and remember to do the right thing. I know I'm going to miss not seeing my family this year and watch my nieces and nephews go on an Easter egg hunt but the sooner this is all over the sooner we can get back to normal (and honestly I'd rather be stuck in isolation now at Easter rather than at Christmas!) Stay safe everyone and I hope I can get back to taking photographs of all your wonderful families soon! #happyeaster #staysafe #stayhome

16.01.2022 Update on the baby market photos: several client's photos are done and the others are on the way there! In the meantime here is a little sneak peek of one of the photos from the many shoots on that day. These three were just so full of beans and certainly made it a challenge to get a few photos, but you have to admit, seeing that brotherly bond makes your heart melt #brotherlylove #photographychallenges #studiostylephoto #capturingtheconnection #familyandfun

14.01.2022 I did a photo shoot at an orchard last weekend, and while there weren't many blooms left, I was still able to get some gorgeous photos, like this one of these two beautiful girls. I just love it when you are able to capture the connection between siblings! #siblinglove #beautifulgirls #capturingtheconnection #orchardshoot #familyandfuntimes

12.01.2022 How gorgeous are these little guys? Those smiles!! I met the two proud older brothers a few weeks back for the maternity shoot and met little guy number 3 on the weekend for his newborn shoot. Such sweet little things, all three of them! #gorgeousboys #newbornphotography #lifestylephotography #athomephotography

10.01.2022 I can't help but take my camera wherever I go, and I was so glad I brought it with me last weekend when I took my niece to an orchard for some fruit picking because I got this absolutely gorgeous shot! Even without any blossoms it was still a great place for some beautiful pics. #beautifulgirl #orchardshoot #familyandfuntimes

08.01.2022 Christmas is fast approaching! Just a reminder to all you mums who had their adorable little ones get photos from me at the baby market (like this gorgeous little guy) if you want your prints before Christmas you should try and order your prints soon. And as for those who HAVE ordered prints, i received an email from my printers saying that most of your orders have been dispatched - watch those letter boxes! #christmasiscoming #familyandfuntimes #capturingtheconnection #gorgeousboy

03.01.2022 Happy Father's Day to all the awesome dads out there! Hope you enjoy your day! #fathersday #awesomedads #dadandbub #newbornphotography #capturingtheconnection

02.01.2022 Sometimes getting photos of kids can be hard. I mean let's face it, very few kids like to sit still and smile, especially when there is a big park to explore. That's why I love natural, lifestyle photos - you get a chance to capture the fun loving spirit of kids in a casual setting. Just like these three little monkeys - with a bit of help from mum and dad to get their attention I was able to get this great shot of kids being kids #cheekymonkeys #kidsbeingkids #capturingtheconnection #familyandfun #lifestylephotography #onlocation #familyphotos

02.01.2022 It's not long until Mother's Day so I thought it be would be appropriate to share this gorgeous photo that I took on the weekend of Penny and her three boys (the third is in the belly as you all probably have guessed!) #wheresthebaby #amotherslove #maternityphotography #familyphotography #capturingtheconnection #familyandfun #lifestylephotography

01.01.2022 One of the things I have always been proud of as an Aussie is the Aussie spirit of helping others, especially in a crisis, both here and around the world. We were one of the first countries to send help after the Boxing Day tsunami, a couple of Aussies were instrumental in rescuing those kids stuck in that cave in Thailand and every year we send firefighters over to the US to help them with their own fires just to name a few. These fires in Australia are unprecedented. Homes ...are lost, people have died, millions of animals have been killed and injured leaving some species (like the koala) even more threatened and hectares upon hectares of beautiful bush are now a charred wasteland. People in cities are breathing polluted air and those in the bush flee to beaches with their loved ones (both human and animal) waiting to be evacuated. These fires have been burning for months and we still have several summer months to go with no rain in sight. All up, this is enough to make you want to cry. As usual, the Aussie spirit shines through, with people donating money, food, their homes, their time to help in any way they can. Here in WA our firies are travelling over east to help out. But while the Aussie spirit has impressed me as usual, what has astounded me is the level of support from overseas. People from all over the world are donating to help our firies, our people and our animals. Not just from our ever reliable cousins in New Zealand and our mother country, the UK, but I've seen donations from the US, Brazil, Denmark, France, Japan and so much more. Australia is always willing to help in a crisis and it is heartwarming to see that feeling being returned when we need it most. The state of the world can be pretty disheartening at times, but when I see things like this, with people all over the world pulling together to help us - our people, our animals, our COUNTRY - in this time of need, it gives me a sense of hope and a reminder that while there are still horrible things in this world, there is still so much more GOOD. So as an Australian who, while not directly affected by these fires does feel my heart break a little every day as I think of the country I love so much burning, I'd like to say a big thank you to all those around the world who are doing all they can, no matter how small, to help this country on the other side of the world. Thank you for sending us your firefighters. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts. And as always, a HUGE thank you to all of our firefighters for all that you do every day, risking your lives to protect others and for never giving up fighting what seems to be the impossible fight. We owe you a debt that can never be repaid
