15.01.2022 A good reason to refinance! One of my customers at the moment is refinancing to consolidate some unsecured debt into one payment while also getting a lower rate on her existing home loans. It combines the lenders interest rate with all the extra charges and additional fees (if there are any) related to the loan. How can it Help me choose a loan?... Without guidance from a broker, most people simply compare loans based on the loan interest rate. This can be a misguiding practice as they won’t get the full picture of approval fees, establishment fees and any other additional costs. Some loans will have a great interest rate but once those costs are factored in, maybe far more expensive that a comparable loan with a slightly higher interest rate. You may think you can borrow enough or you have enough savings to put that offer in - but have you spoken to someone about your situation? It's heart breaking when people come to me with an offer already in place and they either don't have the borrowing capacity to purchase for the price they offered or don't have the cash to pay the stamp duty and deposit!... 01.01.2022 Event - Thank You Day | The year 2020 will be remembered for a lot of things travel disruptions, lockdowns, financial troubles. But all of that pales compared... to the challenges many countries have faced with preserving life itself. If there is any one year where we should be grateful for what we have, especially here in Australia, this is the year. For transplant recipients of course every year post receiving the gift of life is a year in which to be thankful. This Sunday is another opportunity to say thank you to the organ and tissue donors and their families who made a decision to save someone else. Perhaps that person registered as a donor and their decision was respected by their family. Maybe the family made the decision for them. Either way the gift of life is the most precious gift we can leave others. Thank You Day is held every year and it is a day in which we can all reflect on the value of life and that gift.
