25.01.2022 Binning barbecue gas bottles can have explosive results Recently our waste trucks have had two separate incidences of gas bottles being disposed of in wheelie bins. Gas bottles have the potential to ignite in our waste trucks and cause serious injury to the drivers and anyone else in the vicinity.... Please take your barbecue gas bottles to council's Resource Recovery Facility - the Incredable Drop Off Area at the Paget Waste Management Centre or return them to the place of purchase. For further information on correct waste disposal visit www.mackay.qld.gov.au/waste.

18.01.2022 We’re facing very uncertain times, and now more than ever, we need strong, effective leadership from our Council. I know that the team of people I’ve been openly and honestly campaigning with are professional, positive, visionary members of our community. I have to question some of the independents ability to work with others they so obviously dislike and disrespect. ECQ have recommended doing your research and deciding who you will be voting for before going to prepoll or ...a polling booth, to reduce the time you have to be there. I can only suggest you do the same. We are easy to find on social media, or at https://www.gregwilliamson.com.au/. Please vote 1 to 10 for the Greg Williamson Alliance to keep our region moving forward. Written and authorised by Belinda Hassan Greg Williamson Alliance, 5 Mangrove Rd, Mackay
