19.01.2022 From Elisha (OT): Tumbling monkeys is a great game that targets multiple OT areas in one game and the clients love playing! It teaches children about turn taking, winning and losing and helps develop their fine motor skills. From Jenn (OT): I enjoy using sticks and rings as it can be used for so many different areas that we work on in OT. Some of these include visual perception as a child is required to identify the correct size of the sticks/rings to be able to choose one that isn't too big or too small. It works for colour and shape identification as well as fine motor pincer grips which we are required to develop to complete many day to day tasks. I also like to use the boards for tracing, making it a great resource for pre-writing skills! Most importantly, the kids love it!

16.01.2022 Great night out of the green for the team. Perfect way to end a hectic week and have time for a chat with work friends. Of course some (who shall remain nameless) were more competitive than others. #teamatworkandplay

12.01.2022 My fav resource was a bargain I picked up from a second hand shop (a great place for retro games that you can no longer buy)-clients use the pictures to identify what is wrong with the picture and match up the card to make it right. My little person this afternoon has difficulty putting their ideas into sentences without my help to prompt them. We try and reduce reliance on just copying sentences verbally, so a written sentence starter was all that was needed to give them independence to use language to explain what was in the pictures. I never tire of this game- so versatile.
