The RBA, conscious of reductions in consumer spending, further falls in house prices and the flow on economic impact of stage four restrictions in Victoria, has consistently stated that it sees a cash rate of 0.25% as the floor. But all of that pales compared... to the challenges many countries have faced with preserving life itself. If there is any one year where we should be grateful for what we have, especially here in Australia, this is the year. For transplant recipients of course every year post receiving the gift of life is a year in which to be thankful. This Sunday is another opportunity to say thank you to the organ and tissue donors and their families who made a decision to save someone else. Perhaps that person registered as a donor and their decision was respected by their family. Maybe the family made the decision for them. Either way the gift of life is the most precious gift we can leave others. Thank You Day is held every year and it is a day in which we can all reflect on the value of life and that gift.
