25.01.2022 A stunning new arrival at Bella Cosa is this Art Deco bar unit made of maple with birds eye maple laminate veneers and chrome edging. It has internal cabinetry for storage and comes with the most beautiful pink tinged mirrors, one etched. A truly stunning original 1930's piece.

25.01.2022 A beautiful pair of miniature framed tapestries, fabulous for that small wall area that needs some colour. The detail in the stitch work is amazing, circa 1900.

24.01.2022 A stunning pair of hand cut Polish crystal vases circa 1970. Each stands 30 cm tall so very impressive perhaps at either end of a mantelpiece. The cobalt blue is almost electric near a light.

23.01.2022 A Royal Doulton 'Blue Willow' ginger jar circa 1981. It has a great hexagonal shape and who doesn't love a piece (or many) of classic blue willow ?

18.01.2022 A Victorian armchair with deep button back on carved mahogany legs, England circa 1880. It has been very well re-covered in a delightful blue fabric featuring gold stars. A wonderful contemporary take on a solid antique chair.

14.01.2022 Another smaller Chinese wedding cabinet is equally as beautiful and dates circa 1880. It is lacquered and hand painted elm and features two doors above three drawers.

13.01.2022 A very happy hand carved timber and hand painted Buddha (Hotei) floor statue. Deity of abundance, contentment and good fortune. He stands 120cm tall and originates from China circa 1920.

11.01.2022 Hand painted Shelley trio circa 1910. What a fabulous black and blue pattern and in keeping with design trends of the time. Antique Shelley...enough said !

08.01.2022 We have welcomed some wonderful new arrivals at Bella Cosa this week. This amazing display cabinet was made in England circa 1900 and features a mirrored back with three glass shelves. The superb feature of this piece is that every glass panel to the doors and sides has been beveled. What amazing craftsmanship !

08.01.2022 Bella Cosa is still open but currently operating with reduced hours, but still 7 days a week at this stage. Our shop is large and open and can easily allow for social distancing. We have hand sanitiser (yippee) and clean thoroughly each day. 07.01.2022 Bella Cosa is still open for business and following the social distancing restrictions easily due to the size of our shop. We have reduced our hours slightly to M-F 9 am to 3 pm and Sat and Sun 10 am to 1pm. 07.01.2022 Carlsbad FSC wall/display plate Czechoslavakia circa 1910. Approx 27 cm diameter. Beautiful detail to the centre of the plate and to the outside bands.

06.01.2022 A quality antique piece of furniture....burr walnut music cabinet featuring amboyna cross banding, fruitwood inlay and a brass gallery, on original ceramic castors England circa 1860

05.01.2022 This very old provincial Chinese wedding cabinet dates to about 1850 and has two doors to reveal a concealed storage chest. It also has a 1997 wax export seal to the back.
