17.01.2022 KYLIE IS US ********* This week I’ve been thinking of Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert who has been held in an Iranian prison since Oct 2018. Kylie was a lecturer at the University of Melbourne & was attending an academic conference in Iran before her arrest. She is just like you and me but has had her freedom taken from her...can you imagine?!? She’s been sentenced to 10 years for espionage. ... I think of her often as I walk through the flowers and hope that one day she’ll have the chance to again walk through her own garden. I feel fortunate to have my flower farm, and often wonder how can I help her?!? I’ve a background in govt advocacy, but maybe my flowers are more effective? It can’t hurt to try. These Love in Mist are for her; Kylie is not forgotten, sure, it’s a small gesture, but many small thoughts can make a difference.
