24.01.2022 Early morning website designing for days now. Every time I have no idea what those technical terms mean, I remember there are millions of websites out there, so I just need to figure this part of the puzzle out. It's not perfect by any means, but it will be able to do the simple functions needed for people to actually buy my pendants, my book, Bella's cards, Reggie's magnets and my new product which I am so excited for.... It will continue to be a work in progress, but just getting it up and into the world needs to happen and the rest will just follow. Surely?

22.01.2022 When I was working on getting better, I had a few things on my bedside table to help me through. 1. A notebook. I still have the notebook I used to force myself to write a little each day. With drugs, bandages, drains and tubes coming from my chest, my handwriting was scribble, but I needed to write down the emotion I was feeling. At that stage, I didn't think I would ever write my book, but I certainly was grateful years later to draw upon those hospital and recovery times ...when writing about my journey. If I hadn't written, I wouldn't have remembered as the drugs took away a lot of my memory! 2. A good book. Whatever your genre, a book allows you to escape whatever is happening in this world. It actually can control your breathing and your thoughts from heading too much into the past or future. I loved reading about resilience and overcoming challenges, but I also loved escaping with romance and all things working out happily ever after! 3. Puzzle book. Jab and I completed a ridiculous amount of puzzles whilst waiting for appointments or for chemotherapy fusions to go through. Weirdly enough, this sharing of a crossword brought us closer together. We still enjoy a crossword x 4. Chocolate. Oh my. I loved my chocolate and my salt and vinegar Kettle chips, too! For me, chocolate seems to be a near daily occurrence nowadays and my sister, sister in law and I may or may not have cups of Dilmah tea (and me having hot water) alongside our pieces of divine goodness! I'm interested to know what is your favourite chocolate, puzzle or book genre? Or is there something else that you like to do often that makes you feel you? Have a beautiful day. The sun is shining x

22.01.2022 On my walks this weekend at our home away from home, I took photographs of happiness. These photographs were a task needed to be done as part of my new product line being launched soon. Isabella is using them to create something special and I look forward to sharing it all with you soon. Which photo do you like best?

22.01.2022 I've been waiting all week for 200 of these guys to turn up and they finally did today! Another part of the 'But, why not?' plan being ticked off. I honestly think I have only about three weeks to go until my new website will be launched and this is where you will be able to buy my book, my pendants, Isabella's cards, Reggie magnets as well as my new product line. On the weekend, I am going to put together some content which will outline what that new product is, what it loo...ks like, sounds like, feels like, tastes like and smells like. I've deliberately used the senses to make it meaningful to you and your loved one. Meanwhile, I'm just going to sit here and flick through pages and smell the good smell that only a new book can provide. Until my website is up, you can buy my book from me for $25 and I can arrange for pick up or postage ($10 with tracking). Have a lovely night x

20.01.2022 At Bella & Reg, I do my own packaging, from design to guillotining to folding to stapling. Unfortunately, I am still needing to use the plastic casing due to oil from fingertips marking the fabric. If anyone has any cost effective ways to eliminate the need for staples and plastic, I would love to hear from you! It is really the only thing holding me back from reducing the impact on the environment and being totally reusable and recyclable. Fabric: YALKE GREEN by Australian Indigenous Artist JUNE SMITH and YUENDUMU BUSH TOMATO RUST by Australian Indigenous Artist A. NAPANANGKA.

20.01.2022 Having over 65 fabrics showcasing the talents of our Australian Indigenous artists makes for hard choices! I always have customers saying how much time they take to contemplate which artwork speaks to them. Usually, after much deliberation, they go back to the first one that caught their attention. Today is a wonderful day and, although the next two weeks of school holidays will be full of hard work, I look forward to it because it will make me happy and fulfilled. Every lit...tle moment will be exciting and part of the Bella & Reg jigsaw puzzle which is nearing completion. I cannot wait to show you. I am ready! Have a wonderful Friday. Bianca x See more

15.01.2022 Today is a very exciting day. New stock is being delivered and it makes everything so real. Over the coming months, I will be testing the product first to see how the market reacts, before jumping all in. A little bit nervous? Yes. A little bit uh oh? Yes. It is totally human to feel all the feels and it is totally normal to be realistic about them - even if I am a creative person. I think it is healthy to combine the two. I believe in my purpose. I am positive about my 'why...', so when inner doubt comes up (and it will), I will be ready to have a stern talking to it, and remind the nervousness and uh oh feels about the happiness and fulfillment, my purpose will bring. A step closer each day. Keep moving forward. Looking forward to seeing cardboard boxes after work!

15.01.2022 We grew up with an abundance of karapincha leaves, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, ginger and garlic in our curries. We warned our friends who came for dinner about pushing to the side of the plate anything that resembled something from the garden. As soon as you break the stem or pull some leaves off, the aroma of the karapincha curry leaves is all that you can smell. I love our tree in the garden, one from my uncle and auntie's backyard in Homebush. It is such a soothing... smell for me and instantly reminds me of my mum's cooking, our tables full of dishes and lots of conversation with family. Our senses are so important to calming the mind and centering ourselves. I would love to know what smell makes you smile and brings back happy memories for you. Have a lovely day, Bianca x Fabric: STELLA BLACK Australian Indigenous Artist CATHY TURNER WINTER SPIRITS YELLOW by Australian Indigenous Artist FAYE OLIVER

14.01.2022 Last night, I was putting together some pendants for a donation to an event happening in October. I love how I cut, fold, clip, glue, set, stick, staple - basically create my pendants in my own home. I get to do this as one child is having a shower after a great day with his best mate and the other is studying for yearlies in her room. My feta, spinach and pine nut pie was in the oven and I was creating whilst waiting for it to cook. I thank my lucky stars that I get to do a...ll this and live all this. Not one day goes by that I'm not grateful for being alive. Being mindful of using our senses every day brings gratitude. Fabric: DANCING SPIRIT GREEN by Australian Aboriginal Artist COLLEEN WALLACE.

14.01.2022 This pendant will make a great Christmas present and it's waiting at its giver's house right now. Love. Fabric: FRESH LIFE AFTER RAIN GREEN by Australian Indigenous Artist CHRISTINE DOOLAN.

08.01.2022 I couldn't hold back from sharing these two things. 1. Although people can buy my book from Book Depository, Amazon etc, I have actually commissioned a print run as part of my new Bella & Reg product line. Over the last few weeks, I am sure you've been able to have an educated guess as to what I am soon to launch, and having several boxes of my book delivered soon was too much for me to keep to myself. Soon, my book will be able to be bought through me. Yay. My book, 'I am...... I can... I will' is about my cancer journey but it's actually more than that. It's about family, it's about resilience, it's about having a laugh and finding courage in unexpected situations to face fears. I am using it to let people know that they can. Whatever the obstacle, whatever the situation. They can. You can. 2. A new website www.bellaandreg.com will be going live in a few weeks time. I couldn't be more excited when that happens because it will be the final part of prep before this new chapter begins. It will be the amalgamation of my happiness, fulfillment and authentic purpose, all whilst serving others. I honestly cannot wait to share it all with you. In the meantime, I will continue prepping and dreaming of the end product. All these little steps have been a JOY to jump on (sometimes forwards two to go back one) and take me to the my end goal. It's so in reach now. As always, thank you for your support. Bianca x

06.01.2022 S N E A K P E E K I am beyond excited because every little part of my new product line is coming together! I have been working with the beautiful Flavia from @yumehaus and she has taking my ideas and made them into this gorgeous travel tin candle. Here is the review I will be leaving @yumehaus on Etsy because credit should be always given where credit is deserved. Thank you, Flavia! Dear Flavia,... The box of your beautiful candles were delivered yesterday afternoon and I could not have been more excited! I was heading out for a walk when I spied the delivery in my garage. I raced back inside and forced all those related to me and who were in the vicinity, to watch the unveiling of the soy wax travel tin candles I especially ordered to be part of my new product line. They are beautiful! Thank you for being so prompt in your reply to me on Etsy when I was reaching out to Australian candle makers. I had a specific design and idea, and you were able to help my vision come to fruition. I think you have been as excited as me to get this candle made because you can see the love and purpose behind my idea. I cannot speak more highly of your warmth, your professionalism and your product. I love that you have ticked all the boxes of what I look for in a supplier and love that your product is Australian made. Like it says on the travel tin lid, 'Joy' is exactly what everyone should be able to experience in this one life. Thank you for making this part of my new product turn from a dream into reality. Plus, the added bonus of Buttercream Vanilla scent is amazing! Thank you! Bianca Plunkett Gooley Owner of Bella & Reg

05.01.2022 M O N D A Y M U S I N G S We all have one life. Only one. It sounds like a long enough time to fit everything in that you dream of doing. Maybe it's travelling the world, maybe it's writing that cook book, maybe it's spending more time with family or friends, maybe it's a million other things that enter your mind and you store away into the 'got to get around to doing that' folder. For when, though? Before kids? Before marriage? At the 10 years long service mark? After ...kids move out? When you retire? When grandchildren are a bit older? In only six questions, I've got to the latter end of this one life we're given. And that's if we are lucky to live that long. We've all got a designated number of heartbeats and breaths, and we don't know when those are up. We don't know what is in store for us health wise, family wise, job wise etc. I never got my ten year long service holiday; my leave pay went on paying chemotherapy, ray treatment and hospital bills. It's probably the only thing I still get annoyed about. Why do many of us live like we're invincible or as if we're going to be granted that 80+ year life? Are you putting steps in place to make your dreams come true? Are you happy? Fulfilled? Are you living your authentic purpose? Are you helping others? These are questions I want to answer yes to on a daily basis. I really hope you do, too. Fabric: MEETING PLACES BLUE by Australian Indigenous Artist JOSIE CAVANAGH.

05.01.2022 Santa's been! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas with your loved ones and the memories of loved ones who are no longer with us. Thinking of everyone who may find today a little bit hard.... Much love to you and thank you for your ongoing support of my little business, Bella & Reg. Bianca x Fabric: LANDSCAPE RED by Australian Indigenous Artist STEPHEN PITJARA.
