23.01.2022 Not long until school holidays is upon us..where did the time go . Get 2 to 3 families together and book Bella Casa (sleeps up to 15). Plenty of things to do for the kids. If you don’t want to leave home let them run rampant around the 5 acre property, exploring the creek and the bush, a game of tennis, a swim in the pool or trip to the beach. Or take them horseriding at one of the local riding schools, or fly through the air on flying foxes at Australias first Cliff Edge... adventure park, based inside Shoalhaven Zoo, and don’t forget to finish off with something special for both kids and adults at The Treat Factory...Yum. 23.01.2022 Things to do around Berry series - a hike up to Drawing Room Rocks. Only 7kms out of Berry heading up Woodhill Mountain Road until you see the signs to Drawing Room Rocks. The sign says a 3 hr return moderate walk but took us approx 40 minutes power walking to the top. An absolutely breathtaking view. 17.01.2022 So today headed 15 minutes east of Bella Casa Berry to Coolangatta (NSW) for a 2 hour trail ride (yes giddyup ) through the beautiful Seven Mile Beach National Park and onto the Seven Mile Beach for a fun trot and canter up the beach with Regal Riding School and owner Monique. Very impressed with Monique’s care and detailed instruction about my horse Barry and her attention to detail with other riders. Regal Riding School offers small group, up to 6, trail rides along th...e beach for those with some horseriding experience, and beginners lessons and trail rides. If you are staying at Bella Casa on the weekend, it’s best to prebook a trail ride at least the week before. To finish a fabulous day we followed Monique’s suggestions of lunch and a wine tasting at Mountain Ridge Wines Cellar Door & Restaurant. Yummo!! The food was delicious and some wine was purchased for our wonderful Bella Casa guests - a particular fav of ours is the Organic Shiraz silky smooth . Judy is a South Coast artist and well known for her Australiana paintings including NSW south coast seascapes and country scenes.
