25.01.2022 Why is it that you always make a mess before things are sorted... Finding lots of interesting bits amongst the spider webs! Did you know we haven't been properly open in the last year!! So much money not gained for rescue, it saddens me heaps. :(

25.01.2022 This is stinging nettle! They love spring. Nasty to touch, but their remedy is usually near - any white sap weed like thistle or dandelion can be mushed up in your hand and put on like a poultice!! If you are trying to rid your garden from these and, like me - don't wear gloves, then pull out at the very base near the soil. Careful to to brush those leaves!!

16.01.2022 PLEASE READ Just a reminder to our customers. I cannot and will not be open on Saturday's until the rules change for COVID. I am allowed to take limited private appointments of which you MUST pre-book and arrive at the pre-booked time. I will need to collect a phone number if you choose to make an appointment, to go on our register of visitors here. ... I am very disappointed that this year I have not been able to raise much funds for the rescues we support. Chez Guy Small Animal Rescue, Unwanted Fuzz Ferret Rescue and Wala Wildlife Rescue. The greater disappointment though at the moment, is people making allegations that are not true. I have spent an hour on the phone with a DHHS authorised officer, trying to clear my name for "opening". Our last full opening was on August the 1st. I work hard to help raise funds for rescue. This year we have missed all the good sales months that usually provides a considerable amount of money to rescue. I have spent the year caring for stock that cannot be sold in the hope that we will eventually be able to reopen. But this week has me burnt. :( I remind everyone I know or who visits here, if you have a problem with me, or need to ask clarifying questions, I am here, just ask me. Every time things like this happen it sends you further into depression. COVID has done enough of that this year. Hoping all your gardens are growing well, Sincerely, Amber

These babies didn't deserve to be dumped They didn't ask to be born The people that dumped them do not deserve animals of any sort....
