17.01.2022 Hi everyone, my name is Peta and Im a new addition to Bella Even tho I havent been here long it already feels like home and Im loving getting to know all our guests!! I am a single mum to 2 kiddies, Flynn who is 8 and Lola who is 6. They keep me busy on my days off but I do manage to go for hikes, play board games and enjoy a wine with friends too.... I have been in the hair and beauty industry for 23 years. I love learning and bettering myself as a stylist. My favourite part of the hair industry is styling with hair ups, hair cuts, blowaving and curls. I also enjoy doing spray tans with paying attention to detail, making sure you get the most flawless tan And last but not least I am also a qualified make up artist and I love creating that beautiful natural glow that enhances your natural features. Just like my taste in wine (verve, Chandon and Mot are my favs) I have very high standards to the work I create and I cannot wait to make Bellas guests feel glam . 07.01.2022 Hi my name is Jess I have been hairdressing for 13 years and been with Bella for the good part of 5 years. I am a chilled out kiwi, a fur Mum to my boy oscar and it is my privilege to look after all my Bella girls and guests. I love making my guests feel renewed, being through style cuts or colour changes. Dry cutting, placement foils and blondes are my speciality.... When Im not in the salon you will find me hiking with friends, enjoying a coffee or wine in the sun or spending time with my 3 year old newphew connor (my favourite lil person ) I like to keep busy and active in my personal life so when Im at Bella I let time slow down for both myself and my guests so we all enjoy the beautiful place that it is to relax and rejuvenate. For this reason we have handed her introduction over to the Bella girls to describe our Trish to you Trish runs the salon (when Jess lets her) She is a hard working Mum with high family values that she holds both at home and within our team. She is the loud one in the salon but with that she brings the laughter, smiles and a light hearted atmosphere.... If youve ever had a facial or your hair washed by Trish at our hair spa you would have experienced her calm side using her essential oils and putting you into a little dream land. When Trish is not at work you will find her with family and friends making the most of what Perth has to offer, or on the sideline of her son, Kalens (11) soccer game. 02.01.2022 Technique Tuesday . Todays tip is all about how to get the natural looking glow..... . With highlighter of course!! But application is key ... . If you apply with a brush that is too dense then you will most likely over do the shine factor. Using your finger to apply is perfectly fine but once again you wont get that softness of a natural glow..... . My favourite way of applying highlighter is with a fan brush. . The bristles are dense enough to hold onto enough product but is light enough to disperse the product softly across the higher points of the face. The points we want to lift up . Moving the fan brush back and forward will create a curved application, just remember we always want to be curving upwards when it comes to our cheeks bones for lift. Imagine it like a rainbow bend .
