21.01.2022 STRAIGHTNER VS TONG/WAND There’s no right or wrong for this BUT there is a general rule. Fine limp hair needs fullness and generally requires a tong/wand over a straightener to ensure you maximize fullness and don’t compact the hair shaft which is what a straightener does. Keeping this is mind straighteners would be best for creating curl in thick coarse hair as it will compact and smooth the hair.... We hope this helps!!
