22.01.2022 After a crazy year of COVID lock down there has been a silver lining. Many amazing relationships made and partnerships developed. Our organic family keeps on expanding, ever more so this year, as we adopt new legends into our salvo family! People of Peace who are passionate about making a difference. For example relationships made with Dayelene and Katrina. This relationship came through new Salvo James, which came thanks to connection with Tahnee who met him while working a...t Kmart Australia. We are blessed to have this wonderful community expanding through transformed lives and who are now supporting us along with the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal. This has all developed from simply following the Great Commission. #growingfaithwhereverlifehappens

21.01.2022 Just a touch of love brings out the best in something! This beautiful front gate to our HQ The Ranch - The Salvation Army Bellarine Peninsula had a much needed makeover today. Special thanks to Bailey Tahnee and Rachael for their hard work and commitment to this job! Your work has been outstanding. Thanks also to Mark for your help this arvo removing a tree and some stumps! The screen trees are in to give our back yard privacy from the new housing estate. Even though we got hit by that awesome storm, great memories. Thank you!
16.01.2022 Thank you to our Salvo family who willingly place their lives before God and let him use their strengths and weaknesses to help share the love of Jesus one life at a time. Place your life before God. So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary lifeyour sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around lifeand place it before God as an offering. ... Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:1
16.01.2022 With Captain Hobbs 42nd birthday approaching he has asked that instead of sending gifts that we support the Bellarine Salvo Outreach Van. So he set up this fundraiser. His goal was $1000 and that was smashed in one day. He’s now raised the goal to $2000. Can we smash that in 2 days? This money will be invested directly back into the Bellarine!
15.01.2022 Wow!! Over $1000 in one day! That’s amazing! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, I am so grateful. What a great gift to see this cause get this suppo...rt. It does my heart so good. We’ve been providing this relational service for seven and a half years and the ministry is expanding its sphere of influence every day. Thank you for your support. Please spread the word and let’s see if we can smash $2000. This money goes directly into providing the necessary funds to keep this vital frontline service alive.

12.01.2022 It’s so wonderful to have Simon Coope still part of our Salvo family and tonight we got to help him settle into his new place in Indented Head. Unfortunately his chooks couldn’t move to the new house so we have taken them on at The Ranch. Simons Salvo corporate business management history in this region is extensive and so great to have such amazing expertise supporting our community. ... Absolute legend! We are looking after the chooks. Thank you.

03.01.2022 Today was another working Bee at The Ranch - The Salvation Army Bellarine Peninsula. Bailey, Tahnee, Rachael and Captain Peter Hobbs worked to clean up the patio area, where Bailey and Tahnee worked hard to remove a massive tree root from the garden bed. After a good hour of digging they made it! So much fun and much laughter. But the Ranch is slowly being spring cleaned and made over, thanks to the generous donation of time and effort by our amazing Salvo family. Thank you!
01.01.2022 Captains Peter and Diane Hobbs were asked to contribute to an international Salvation Army journal about how COVID had changed their methods and practice and how it will change The Salvation Army. Here’s their response:
01.01.2022 The Salvation Army is passionate about seeing the whole earth restored to its original healthy Eden state. Yes we primarily work in restoring humans but we are also passionate about the environment. Did you know there’s one thing we can all do to help earth without having to spend a cent?
